Hi I didn't get the MOAD tag! I didn't port in and I did the run from the beginning killing the yuan-ti. Everyone else got the tag and I did not do anything differently from them. I was on server 1 the run happened around 830pm pst.
Please advise...

There are any number of other reasons why you might not have gotten the tag - usually a message ingame will tell you what that reason is. Things that come immediately to mind are: -you were dead when the killing blow landed -you were out of level range of the party -there were too many people in the party
Etc.
Does any of those sound like the reason? I can assure you there are no bugs in the tag granting code, it's had thousands upon thousands of hours of playtest.

Whilst there is no bug in the tag granting code the MoAD tag is a bit funny though as if you earn it through a proxy you can not use the tag on the toon that you merge your tags to.

There's no difference n the tags that I know of. Can you point to a character that has this issue?

Those are two separate tags. If the character you merged the proxy with doesn't have the MoaD tag, for weapons, you can still get it. The post-immo attainable MoaD tag is not one transferred by the proxy process for this reason.

Hi Again and thanks for all the responses, It is my first character, Satrya Borgir... I do not know about merging or how to merge... There was only about 8 people in the group, We were all close to level 40. I was NOT dead. the log told me it was because I ported in and or wasn't there from the begining. But I was and I walked into the room that MoAD was in... And I was there from the begin, we actually got about 3 tags before we did MoAD... I got all of those just fine. please give me another reason why...

If you are 100% sure that you got enough mob kills on the map prior to MoaD, then you should have got the tag. If however, you were resting in town, or not in Yuan-ti area to get enough mob kills, then won't get the MoaD tag - my guess would be not enough mob kills in Yuan-Ti coven.

Hi, Is there a way to check and see if you have enough kills? Before entering? With so many people killing in a group, does each individual have to so many kill shots? I am going to try to get it again, but I just want to know what error I made as to avoid it again... Thank you for your help!

No, you just have to be alive and in the same area for the kills - each kill counts for every person in the party, no matter which party member killed the creature in question. If you had been, you would've gotten the MoaD tag. The counts are pretty forgiving, so if you're up even half the time, you should get the tag. It's in the nature of an anti-exploit, so no, there's no way to check your kill count - this would allow players to cut the corners the anti-exploit is there to prevent being cut. Just do the run as normal and you shouldn't encounter any difficulties.

I was on that run with you. I remember we were all confused about it. You seemed to be there from the start of the Yuan-ti coven, nobody died during the fight, nobody ported during the fight.
All I can think of is maybe you were a few seconds idle on the Coven side of the door. We trashed her Lair minions pretty fast. Can anyone confirm we need Lair map kills for tag?
But I swear we waitied for everyone to come through before moving...

Nope, it's the coven that matters, not mother's lair. If you spend a fair amount of time on your back thanks to hellball spam, though, I could see not getting enough kill points.
