I get a lot of questions about my bard and what build setup I run. I decided to write it up and let folks take a gander. This is my spin on bards, I am NOT looking for criticism or feedback, this is a tried true hell capable bard that can tank if need be.
Siren gives you the following: -2 Strength, -2 Constitution, +2 Dexterity, +2 charisma. Free feats: Lingering Song, and Extra Music. Can breathe Underwater. Speaks Siren Song.

Skill allocation. Every level you should have adequate skill points to dump in your specific skills. They are as follows:
Concentration!, Discipline!, Lore, Perform!, Taunt!, Tumble!, Spell Craft (to 30 and stop), Use Magical Device.
Level Progression: (Noted as NECESSARY)
Level 1: Artist!
Level 40: Paladin Level! Requires Alignment Change!
Level 41: Change alignment back!! Read a Tome of Epic Focus. (Whichever you want)
Spells that you should take!
-Healing circle
-Balagorn’s Iron Horn
-Greater Magic Weapon (GMW)
-Keen
-War cry
-Dirge
-Ice storm
The Saves and AC:
NO song NO Buffs @ level 60
69/73/66
AC 119
Notes: I want to point out that a bard is not a good starting character for a new player. If you are unsure about caster play then this may not be a good build for you until you get some caster play experience. You will notice that I did not take ANY greater charisma feats, and you will also notice that my base Charisma at level 60 is well over 30. This bard sings with a level 61 effective song and wears full plate and shield. Due to the nature of saving throw bonuses from the paladin level your saves should be rock solid from level 40 onward. I also find that with plate and shield I can be immune to implosion, word of faith, harm, and an assortment of other nasty spells at my convenience. With the acquisition of some decent rings and armor/shield I can also get 4 out of 5 elemental immunities to 100% with the 5th nearly 85%. Magic tends to float from 25 to 50% Immunity depending on rings. With a druid and some shunt you can get all of your immunes to well over 150% across the elemental spectrum and still have AC of 116+song.
