Greetings yáll. First post, so be nice and evil This is toon i played quite alot few years ago. So can this survive or will it just get thrashed..? First and foremost welcome to the forums HG has changed a lot over the last few years. I would recommend that you look at the "Open Subrace Builds" here --> highergroundpoa.proboards3.com/index.cgi?board=openbuild for some starter builds while you get used to the all new and improved HG. Everything is customised, the races, the subraces, the classes, the spells and the weapons. You name it the dev team have worked on it. After reading this post, please check your face to see if the amazing ubercoders here have done work to improve it! Until you get more familiar with the changes, working to one of these builds will give you a fun playable character to learn with. Feel free to ask for help ingame from anyone in guild Discovery, marked with a [D] or guild Eternal Reds [ER]. Both are dedicated to helping newer players get settled here. Its a safe bet that if a build isnt designed for HG it wont work as expected here. But dont let me stop you trying Above all - please enjoy your time in HG.

I can offer you a small piece of advice though... you may enjoy this build for the first 40 levels....however....I think you may find some issues with maintaining spells and self sufficiency post level 42. One of the strongpoints on Higher ground is the Legendary level system. Once a character reaches level 41 they need to visit a level up alter. The class with the highest concentration becomes a "control" Class. Keep this in mind as you design future builds. A "control class" means that as you advance in levels past level 40.......the class with the most levels pre 40 wins. You will be forced to advance in your control class from that point forward. In your case that would mean that from level 41+ you would advance as a weapon master. If you enjoy a weapon master and cleric combination you may want to read the Boards at the docks as you enter a server and look for a Quasiclass callled "LifeThreader". Check that out and see what you think. I hope that helps a little.
