This build is designed to offer good offence with a load of natural defences. It comes in two flavours, Basic and BUR. I have included the stats for the Howler flavour below but it works well with Arctic Dwarf (also included). The Howler gets enough free feats and stat point to go for a dual wield, this is harder to fit into the Arctic version. The non dual wield still packs one heck of a punch, and has an extra 25% cold resist.

Progression is 8 Ftr, 4 DD, 4 HS, 1FTR, 22 DD, 1 HS. Look to max Discipline, Parry and Tumble (dump at 40). Because HS has some skill requirements this will more or less be your lot. Spare points where you like (consider saving to max UMD in LL's). All stats to Str.

I have found that with Shunt up in the hells this char can shrug off most attacks even without crit immunity. For large mobs and boss fights a retreat into stone form is essential however.
