The Accident
I never intended to make a slinger. I was proxying my turner and I misspelled the subrace. I only found out at level 41 when i tried to merge. Suddenly I had 7 days to rescue a lvl 40, cc cleric, with all prell tags. I already had a ploder, a turner, a zen ploder, a battlecleric, and 2 threaders. I didn't really want any more CC clerics... the only thing I was missing was a slinger. So, here's my accidental slinger.
Here goes.
Final build in +14 gear: AB 104 with double demi and wis arti (likely a waste of an arti, that's just maxed - I'd more likely go with con arti)
AC 136 AC at double demi with girding up (which he can cast himself). Pre demi he drops 2ac from wis 2ac from dex, 3 ac from asmo arti, so 129, 125 w/out girding.
hp: (my spreadsheet doesnt do this correctly I realized! 1000ish...
saves with 2x demi
Fort: 70
Reflex: 65
Will: 88
abilities with double demi:
Str: 38
Dex: 32
Con: 26
Int: 32
Wisdom: 68 (with arti)
Cha: 36
He should get 8 attacks per round, but only 19-20x2 (no oc/dc, couldn't swing it) - 18-20 if you use a keen sling. 17-20 x3 if you have a keen sling and an oc/dc item. VERY hard to fit oc/dc in this build if not imposible
Pro's: .
- I didn't have to delete my cleric
- Listen is high due to being wis based
- Good Ac
- Miracle and Gird
- Slinger goodies
- He no longer sucks after the slinger upgrades!
- Great saves from pally level
- Ab is fine
- Levitates
- Greater Ruin
- Epic Mage armor for epic dodge
- Can use Sneak Torch and Evelyns and sneak pandect if yo want for some decent damage if you are able to stand at the right range.
- Paladin fear and disease immune
- Divine Might damage from Pharlan
Con's:
- doesnt get kd or magic bullets due to double splash
- missing out on oc/dc/keen w/out items
- Greater Ruin DC is nto maxed

Max CW to 63
Dump rest in conc 53
Tome: Div (for miracle)
Pandect: (sneak if you want)
ARti: Wis - This is probably not reasonable. It maxes ac/ab, but more realistically someone will use something like Con.
You can drop the paladin levels and loose fear and disease immune for a few more caster levels and some GR dc.
Note: Apparently you don't need 3 t1 bab lvls for sligners to get DP LBAB - sicne this is the case you can actually drop all 4 pal levels, however taking 4 pal lvls pre-lvl 20 gievs you one more ab. Taking 1 for savse, 2 for fear, and 3 for disease... it just seemed an easy choice to take 4 for ab.
