There was a previous version with undead focus - while fun (I love undead shapes) it wasn't very good to use due low dexterity and the loss of double damage type since weapon update (risen lord's scythe used to deal two damage types).
Nevertheless humanoid forms are really good at staying alive and provide significant utility - They pack ac and versatile stat distributions. For instance Lizardfolk is able to pass the 150 AC mark at levels 75+. Sahuagin uses a trident with two hands and loses about 5 AC compared to the one before - meaning it's pretty good for damage while still defensive. Let's not forget that you can change to Drow shape (uni tank) Kobold shape (dexter) and Kenku (archer)
Humanoid Stormlord
This build uses Stormlord class features to increase both his own damage and the party's - the main perk is the ability to stack vulnerability infliction with both creeping doom (25% physical) and lizardfolk (25% to all damage types). Add in two castings Enshroudng myst for the party and Call wepaonspren and you fill and unique niche.
This makes the build much less demanding than a true shifter to play, although it still keeps some versatility.
Just make sure to watch out for key buffs running out.
The good:
Decent damage dealer: High Str mod in relevant shapes + (Call Weaponspren - +13 physical damage to party, you gain an additional +8 damage)
Several attacks - Progression 0/-5/-10 +0 +0/-5/-10 = 7 attacks per round (2 from CL 46 Sov , 1 haste, 1 LFF Undead)
Able to pass stat checks with ease (Has Str and Dex tank shapes and Drow for a unitank)
All humanoid shapes can revive other and self restore
Passable AB (95) and great saves (65+) at level 60 stats/+12
Can wear full immunity gear while morphed (heavy armor and shields)
25% Physical vulnerability with creeping doom
25% vulnerability infliction as lizard folk
Conjuration Epic (46% Concealment for the party) and Paragon (Physical damage for the party) spells. Also Illusion epic spell (+20 Natural AC and Amnesia immunity while morphed)
Maxed Listen with Epic Skill Focus
Can use Constitution artifact (or Str if you are inclined to do limbo)
Kobold trap causes -4 fort and reflex saves malus (casters love this)
The bad:
Just 1 cast of Epic Illusion (you can afford losing 3 AC most of time with little trouble)
No OC/DC (you can use random gear or Sign of Orcus if you really want that)
Need to be reincarnated (Storm lord buffs require Dexterity 30 - you last priority and morphed ac and ab are terrible until 55+) //This probably means a double demigod can increase constitution by 4 instead of having base dexterity 34
You need to unmorph to swap gear (including weapons)
You should start as Lawful Neutral then turn to Neutral Evil after getting the monk level to avoid alignment issues in Elysium and Rona.
Race: Elf
Subrace: Undying (Never gets XP Penalty, +3 skill points per LL, Feats: Dodge, Luck of Heroes, Great Fortitude, Iron Will, Lightning Reflexes )
