www.internetpulse.net/Main.aspx - (you can play around with the different filters and see the graph based on packet loss, etc, and hover over a cell to get more info) A bunch of us started lagging like crazy, then gfx got desynced, then lost connection. Not everyone was lagging though. tracert first showed something wrong in Detroit, dropping about a third of all packets, now it's looking like a packet goes to Washington DC, then gets bounced around for several hops there before it hits a brick wall. Just tried again, looks like it's back up now, using DC -> Detroit. Anyways, looks like Level 3 (one of the internet backbones) went for a sec according to the link up above. Also, one more resource for finding where those tracert hops are going when it doesn't give you a city name: ws.arin.net/whois/

Anyways, looks like Level 3 (one of the internet backbones) went for a sec according to the link up above. Yeah, Dod, that Internet Backbone is known by me. It seems like about 2/3 of my internet problems happen because of Level 3. They are inovative bastiches, the problems they cause are never the same. Packet loss, punishing pings, down transfer rates of 100 bytes/second and all and out loss of contact have all happened at different times. I wish the capatalist ambition would put itself in place and give these guys some decent competion in place, it is really aggravating. Take care Kaezar
