Confirmed with gradorian it was mine but unfortunately he blew up several artifacts when trying to transfer them anything that could be done about this?

I lost two asmo ammys (tagged for different accounts), a Cha artifact, Ruby Rod and possibly a couple of other artifacts before gradorian realised what was happening with them when he was picking them up.

I would say crap happens but after just trying to help somebody and realising I have no asmo ammys it was a bit frustrating.

Um, wow. Hey, wait a minute...since asmo ammies can be tagged to accounts, can their loss be traced or verified? Something seems a bit strange - in that I'm amazed he could've even picked them up, if they were account locked to you. Perhaps artifact explosions, even in the bank, should kill the person who causes them if no one else. Fitting punishment, and it would prevent more situations like this one...which still leaves me in shock Especially since the instructions from the bankchest-fixing-lever *tell* you to empty the chest in order to fix it...its almost like instructing you to blow stuff up, albeit inadvertently and the reason the chest must be empty is likely a technical one.

He could still pick them up, the ability to port with the ammy is locked to an account.
Also, while it tells you to empty the chest...most players know that you can only hold one artifact at a time so they move them very carefully.

But the person that moved them obviously wasn't me or I'd have been more careful, I think the chest may have got messed up by a big lag spike at about this time last night but I can't be 100% sure about this.

Bumping this although I fully understand if I'm not going to get my artifacts back, my one hope being it wasn't me that blew them up

Ah, no. There'd be no point to the explosion code if we replaced exploded artifacts. Frankly, I'd count yourself lucky to get the chest back at all. Since you asked, there IS something that can be done about this. DON'T LOG OUT FROM VAULT ROOMS. That's the only way to leave a vault room when a chest is bugged. Doing so means you never get to see the warning on the pedestal that prevents you from porting out.
