I would drop Dodge for GWF. Dodge is dodge AC, like haste, and that hits easily the +20 cap.

That's an interesting option, Torin, since it now frees up a Legendary feat. Thanks. :-)

I would drop Dodge for GWF. Dodge is dodge AC, like haste, and that hits easily the +20 cap. STOP! Just had a look at NWN Wiki. It says: "The AC gained from this feat is "dodge-like" in that it is lost when flat-footed, but it is not subject to a stacking cap. Hence it is classified as one of the "other" sources of AC." Sorry Arek for the confusion. That the AC from Dodge is not dodge-AC is...Bioware at is best.

Already done, Torin. My opinion on Dodge is that it was a spotty feat at best to begin with, and the build already has decent AC and conceal. Overall, I think the extra fortitude gained with this change is more important. :-)

Made another change to the build: Dropped Dodge, taking GWF in its place, and Epic Fortitude at level 57 (where I had GWF). This brings the build's Fortitude save to 66, in exchange for 1 point of situational AC, making it once again capable of surviving anywhere in the module. :-)
BIG Thanks to Torin for the idea. :-)

Having just run another test on this build, I discovered something: I forgot to take Hide, which is required for Self Conceal . Because of this, I changed the build, dropping 2 STR for 2 INT so that I could pick up Hide. The new build maxes Hide on all monk levels, and will qualify for Self-Conceal when it becomes available. Frankly, however, I'm not overly impressed with fist monks anymore, and I'll probably see if I can rework this into a dual-wielding nunchaku build instead. --Arek

This build has been superseded by my new Fists of Furry build. While this build does still work, it's far from optimal and simply doesn't fare as well in current content as I think the above-linked build will. Feel free to use this build if you wish, but don't expect any further support for it from me. Admins, feel free to move this build to either the Base Class/Monk forum or to the Archive. --Arek
