I'm confident the Kleb meant to write 96 not 66 for the CC3 cost of skills. Here are all my skills and costs.
Skill points CC2 Reg CC2 CC3 Skill OL 1 22 8 32 63 DT 23 8 32 63 Search 23 8 14 45 Tumble 23 7 30 Set Trap 23 8 32 63 Craft Trap 63 63 Appraise 23 8 14 45 Conc 63 63 Spellcraft 50 50 Disc 31 31 Lore 63 63 UMD 23 23 CA 0 400 156 372
And cost

Sorry for the late response.
66 was a typo, its 96 as previous posters pointed out. I re-ran the numbers to check and it all works out.
Keep in mind that in order to trap well you need to have your skills maxed at all times, with augmenters and such this is a lot easier than it used to be, but the gear setup will likely be very tight. Mine has been done via some amazing luck at the forge, so I dont know how feasible it is for the average player.
So, if you dont think you can get max CA/ST skills on your gear, then dont bother with the trapping. Bar one or two times that you can afford to dump spellslots (rona), you wont see much use out of this serious investment. I would suggest that said players max appraise and tumble as rogue skills, dropping lore if need be. The reason I say max tumble is because of kd checks, half duration on kd is awesome to say the least, and maxing your tumble is actually not that hard now (63 base + 14 dex max + 50 gear = 127).

question why did you take skill focus: open locks when you can just rearrange some feats and take epic skill focus instead, and is the +3 need for some certain chests?

question why did you take skill focus: open locks when you can just rearrange some feats and take epic skill focus instead, and is the +3 need for some certain chests? You can't rearrange feats to get epic skill focus instead because of the very limited PM epic bonus feat list. You are under the incorrect belief that gsf: illusion could be shifted to pre-epic.

Jean said it all. I have done a small update to this build, abyss modifications are discussed in the notes section.

Well I was mostly wondering why you chose SF open locks. GSF illusion CAN be moved pre-epic. Only problem I've run into so far is the PM bonus feats, since greater int isn't a bonus feat I have an extra feat to take. I'm taking epic warding instead. Just wondering if the 3 points from SF open locks will make or break me.

It makes the difference between being a lock picker and not. In HG you must have 127 open lock to be able to unlock all the chests, and to get such a score you must have the extra 3 open lock from the skill focus. Without maximized open lock, some locks will be impossible to open, and all locks will require more valuable picks to open.
You can move gsf: illusion to pre-epic, but there is no other feat which could be taken as a pm bonus feat to free up a general epic feat. Which is what you indicated with this line: Besides which, Epic Warding is by in large useless as it is easy to get from items.
