What's the purpose of taking concentration on this build?
Also, do you have to use an Assasin dagger for something specific or can you use any cep tiny weapons to dual wield? Kamas?
Finally, I'm using this build and at lvl 17 the death attack is almost constantly missing. Is death attack not useful on this build? Does it get replaced with something else? Is the sneak attack damage still hitting when the death attack is missing?

concentration is becoming as important as discipline in the newer areas
assassin dagger is preferred because it has the largest crit range (and hence mortal strike chance). you can use other weapons, but youll be instakilling things at a reduced rate
death attack is essentially the same as sneak attack, except that on a target that is out of combat you have a chance of paralyzing them. if it keeps missing, you just need to boost your ab

Hmm, I didnt catch the flurry of blows thing... isnt it only possible with unarmed attacks, or kamas (and atm with goad and nunchakus too)?? So how can u make flurry attacks with ur main hand holding an assassin dagger??
Hugs, Nath.

Flurry of blows is useful for attacking crit immune enemies with monk weapons rather than assassin daggers. Weapon feats will apply if you use Goad or Nunchaku as club feats transfer to all CEP weapons at present (this will change in future).

Note however that flurry of blows does not work with Goad and Nunchaku at the moment. You do get Monk Attack Progression with them so they are still a good choice.

He means the units of time into which the NWN engine divides your total number of attacks per round. Full info is here: nwn.wikia.com/wiki/Flurry.

First off, this build is awesome, through and through. Second, I was just curious on a few things pertaining to assassins: 1) I've noticed in the HGwiki Bestiary: Hells Monsters site that a lot of hells creatures have 80% conceal (give or take some). Wouldn't listen be a valuable skill to take to reduce that, or is their another class (like a bard) that does that for you via spell (I'm not very familiar with other classes and their capabilities besides wiz/sor)? 2) For this build pre-demi, the maximum mortal strike DC is 57. (20 base) + (29 from Dex modifier with 68 Dex pre-demi/pre-dex arti) + (8 from lvl 50 asn) = 57. Again from the Bestiary: Hells Monsters, most of them have fortitude saves around 50 - 54. With only a DC of 57, it seems the chances of killing them are slim. I remember you posting a log of a run you took this toon through and it seemed awesome. Are my calculations correct?
Take Monster fort save = 53 Take MS DC = 57 Assume hit and crit in first three attacks on this monster
Probability of killing in first three attacks = 15% x 3 attacks = 45% Probability of monster rolling 1, 2, 3 on d20 in order to fail MS DC = (1/20) + (1/20) + (1/20) = (3/20) = 15%
So I guess over the course of 3 rounds it's not to shabby, but a MS in say the first round is very improbable.

Trash monster fort saves tend to be in the 43-50 range after curse, with additional debuffing possible with many, many different spells and abilities. The chance to mortal strike in the first flurry is greater than you might think.

so how would you go about fitting in a weapon now that the cep fix is in?

He takes an Assassin level before he takes his weapon focus feat, so this build works fine as written. Just take asn dagger instead of club.

Oh i see now the assassin class gives this build its ability to use assassin daggers
As for viability of this build, is it still viable, or did the recent changes make this build obsolete?

as told on the newbie chat.. this is a very good build, but the dualing is not so important now. Sure the parry bonus for using sai offhand is nice, but using a shield for 141 or so ac is just that much more better. If you want to spike your attacks wear the toyshop boots to get 6 attacks a round with your main hand for more MS goodness.

ok thanks in that case ill rearrange feats to take that into account.
Thank you, on the newbie chat it was sounding that i was been told to do a ranger instead that with the new changes the assasins were nerfed and this build was no viable for anymore.
Ok what would be sugested to take instead of the duealing feats, should i gear them towards a short bow? like point blank, WF, and IC, not sure
And why the points in OL dont none rogues only get to open locks of dc 35 and below?

I have this build now, but will be changing on reinc. Before CEP was fixed you could switch to nunchuka which gave you reasonable damage output on non-MS mobs. Now the damage output is just sad. I will probably do either OL based with rogue or AA based for crit imm damage.
ranger, pal, bg, monk, AA, fgtr are all possibilities
