That feat means you'll get 20 EVEN during fights, without it every toon/class rolls a 20 in DT and OL if they arent fighting so you wont lose BUR picks unless you are trying to open the lock while ppl are fighting =P

as jonuhey notes, skill mastery is only useful during combat, with the exception of the rogue specific bonuses at higher levels. this build wouldnt be able to take it anyways, since it doesnt have the necessary rogue levels (and doing so would cost you bab and one attack per round)

build has been updated to avoid complications when weapon focus feats for cep weapons are properly integrated. level progression should be easier to follow, feat order has been changed to compensate
existing greymist characters should keep an eye out for good opportunities to reincarnate before weapon changes roll in

updated the skills for the variant builds. realized i screwed up my skill point calculations, so had to skim some more points off umd. you should still end up with approx 39 ranks at 60, which should be plenty in hells especially if you can keep song going

can you go into your skill distribution more? I am having a hard time understanding why you only allocate 4 points (hide/move silent) at level 1. Thanks!
Edit: Are you sure you can take assassin at level 3? It takes 8 ranks of hide/move silent, and you can't get that with 1 rogue/1fighter. You need at least 4 levels of rogue (or something with H/MS as a class skill) and 1 fighter (if you take F at 2 or 3 and then max them at R after that).

You need at least 5 levels of rogue (or something with H/MS as a class skill). Half-fiends gets +6 to hide/move silent and this bonus kicks in after the first character creation. You must take 2 points of hide/move silent at level 1, then it works.

Ahh, I see. I was looking at the half-fiend and not the Atomie version. My mistake.

With Dex artifact, +14 gear and at 2x demi, the final Dex is 76, which means a modifier of 33. From the documentation:
Does this mean that the DC does not increase when going from Dex 74 (modifier 32) to 76 (modifier 33)? If so, I could reinc now and take 6 more Str in place of 2 Dex, which will give a final Str of 30 which would help make KD checks against PFs most of the time with the new Bard UUU.
Edit: Thanks, Big!

That is correct. Your DC only goes up 1 point for every 4 points of DEX increase. 62, 66, 70, and 74 would all see a DC increase, but none of the DEX values in between.
