As far as BUR Flurries go, I'd recommend being careful to not overestimate the worth of an extra 60 hp. Once you get yourself decently setup, I've found hit points are really not a problem for this build. Even in the hells, I have more problems from kickback than anything else (specifically the Brachna's 100 positive).

Hmm. Running a PW version of this straight from the sheet (because PW is what I have) and decided to go the better saves route over improv crit and weapon finesse. However, I had a few people with AA experience convince me that improv crit is REALLY nice to have, especially solo.
So, here's what I did. Dropped 2 great dex's during epic level up and replaced them with EWF longbow and improv crit. Then I skipped the listen dump because even at level 60 it's only going to be like a 62 or 64, and went with 40 points into craft armor instead.
That should mean I have given up a point on the reflex save (doesn't seem like a big deal as reflex is huge), gained a point of AB, and kept my AC the same. Can anyone confirm this for me before I lock in my LL levels. Any of you AA vets disagree with this angle?

May come off as a silly question but im quite new here, i have a level 50 rogue, who i dont think im going to take to Hells as he may prove more of a bane then a helping hand to a party. Ive starting this build using Aquatic as i have no UR or BUR subbies. Why is everyone putting points into Craft weap/armor?

Every 40 points of Craft Armour gives +1 to AC. Every 40 points of Craft Weapon gives +1 to AB. Not a bad deal if you have skill points left over at the end of your build.

Another question im not really sure about. Since ive never been to the Hells and wouldn't know. Why the self conceal 1-5? Do you really get hit that much with 123AC? Why wouldn't you go more weap focus? For a better AB then 86.

monster ab can get quite high in later areas, and ac alone is not enough for a good chance of survival. any character will want either damage immunity or concealment
an ab of 86 isnt bad, and the aa can always use seekers or another aa ability against enemies with ac too high to hit normally

My old Planewalker AA, using basically this build, with no weapon feats or craft weapon / craft armor and not demi, is at 93 AB before buffs and with some simple buffs would max at 97. There isn't really any great need for more AB IMO -- it's nice and all, but you're not going to have problems hitting things. Wearing UR gear the AC is just as in the opening post: 123. I believe the original post hasn't had the AB modified for the new Legendary BaB (+9 for an AA at level 60).
In the Hells there are a lot of mobs with AB's in the 117-122 range. That means they add their 1d20 to that number. An AC of 123 is going to help against their later attacks some, but you're still going to get hit a bunch and unfortunately easily critted. Conceal is very helpful here. When a Pit Fiend is swinging at you with a base AB of 121, you're certainly going to hope he's cursed but even still you'll want every chance you can get of him missing you.
Another situation I found it to be very helpful was when being swarmed. Even with AB's of less than 100, they still hit on a 20. Pharlans is a good example of a place where even with monster AC compared to their AB, when 10-15 of the dual-weapon guys are getting their 6 attacks a round or whatever on you -- that's still 3-4 hits every round just from sheer numbers. Again a place conceal really helps out. The Furrow is another example of this. As an AA you can mitigate this some by moving away if you're in a party.
Lastly, especially in the Hells, as an AA I move around quite a bunch to get clear lines to the targets without being right next to them or a pack. When moving around you're typically flat footed so you don't have that 123 AC. Again a place conceal helps out.
If you were building a toon strictly for solid Hells parties, you could skip the self conceal with the assumption you'd get displacement or mass camo (assuming high Hide skill) all the time, and assuming you would rarely die. I prefer to have a toon that doesn't rely on other people's buffs and has the 50% conceal immediately upon getting up and never wears off or gets dispelled. I'd recommend it, even though with nearly every LL mob having Blindfight now, it's not as useful as it used to be.
Do note also that after demigod your AC will go up a lot -- +2 from stats and +3-4 from Asmo deflection item. My Erinyes was doing Rona last night with an AC of 137 (bardsong and girding) using a bow, and double demi would raise that another 2 points. An Artifact and BUR robes could push that up 2 more.

My question is about the artifacts: which way to go in your experience guys: Is DEX the way to go, for the +1ab/ac/reflex and immunity to blindness? Or CON for the +8 regen, +40 hps and the breath wich reduces target fire immunity (great for plheghetoras bow)? Or still STR for the stun immunity and the cool death touch? (I personally found myself being stunned and dead at hells a reasonable number of times) Or could be CHA for the +10% fire immunity, a cool fireshield increasing even more fire/cold immunity, and the immunity to deafness ?(which is great to keep my listen high and keep me hitting the concealed enemies) Even INT seems appealing with immunity to confusion (damn u Brachinas!!!) and the domination ability...
Sooooo, what is your opinions?
Hugs, Nath.

Hate to make it harder on you but WIS Artifact is a reasonable choice for this build too. +1 ac, +1 will save and fear immunity is nice and 500 temp HP 1/day never hurts. I know how you feel though Nath, my Flurry has still not used an artifact yet and I am unsure as to which it will be. ~DL

I'm pretty darn sure the Int artifact does NOT protect you from Dominate (from Erinyes in particular).

Read the whole thread and never saw any mention of the Shard subby (+4 dex, +4 con, +4 cha, extra speed, free bard feats). It's the best I have and am trying to make a Flurry type build out of it. Question I have is this. What advantage does wizard have over bard exactly? With the Lingering Song and Lasting Inspiration (free Shard feats), even a level 1 bardsong will last quite a while, and if there is no high bard around, every little bit helps...doesn't it? I'll still be able to read scrolls and such, right? Thanks in advance for any tips.

I have 1 bard lvl in my AA build, and its nice to have the UMD, but, you still only get X amounts of skill points towards things like using scrolls. Once you beging to suffer hells penalties you will run into some minor problems, but nothing that will stop you. I don't waste my time using the mediocre Bardsong from one lvl.

Once the servers are back up, I'll export my LSA tumble flurry AA and post it's build here. The AC on it is quite stupid and it many times turns out to be a better dex tank than the actual dex tanks in the party.

The AC on an Erinyes Flurry should max at 141 (girding, song, double demi, artifact, no teldar's). LSA Tumble would add 4 more, which would definitely be nicer pre-demi / BUR when the AC is still in the mid 120 range.
