Ok I have begun to build this using Yukio as I did not have nor see myself having in the near future Planewalker. The aquatic elf and wraith are pretty much equivalent to Yukio and actually the no water ring of Aquatic is a nice feature but anyways..... I end up having an extra feat or two to use and have some questions. I happened to be in the TESTer with Nails and tried using Called Shot: Arm and all he ended up noticing was a -2 penalty it didn't seem to stack, checking wiki it seems it should but then it only lasts 4 rds so this may be what was happening, he would save enough that it wouldn't ever get a chance to stack up. It seems like this would be a good feat for an Archer but I can't think of anywhere I need to slow a Mob by 20% so I am thinking of calling this a wasted feat. Opinions? Also the Dodge feat, is that +1 calculated in the +20 cap on dodge AC? If so once I have +16 boots and haste is the Dodge feat a waste as well? So far I have taken Iron Will and Weapon Finesse as non-vital feats but I kinda hate using a feat for +2 to save but there does not seem to be a lot of pre-epic options, kind of wish I took Luck of Heroes at level 1. P.S. With all my posts today can you tell I am having a slow day at work

I think Called shot is a worthwhile investment particularly if the enemies you're using it on have high AB. Though I would pick Great Fortitude for you character since you have an effective -4 Con by having an Elf->Yukio, hurting your fortitude saving throws. As for dodge, it's classified under the "Other" category which stacks with everything, but the description says it adds a +1 dodge bonus, so I am unsure as to whether or not it actually works as intended (though a quick test would tell you).

Got my flurry Enlorn the Wanderer (PW) to 60. Hmm, what to do now, possibly try and build something else with stupidly high saves across the board?

Either is OK, personally I'd take it at 9 and save a Monk level for 20 to boost your tumble.

Wizard at first level would mean a must 11 points in Intelligence. I usually go 8 monk/1 wiz/10 AA/1 monk/19 AA/1 monk.

What kind of changes would you make considering the new BUR Erinyes?

Well the differences between the Erinyes and the next viable subrace are more abilities, and more feats that do not have to be taken. This means you can now choose more feats pre-epic and not have to give up other feats (such as weapon finesse). Here's a suggested pre-epic feat list for Erinyes. I'll update the rest of the build in the near future to accomodate for the new subrace choice.
Pre-epic feats: Toughness Weapon Finesse Blind Fight Improved Critical: Longbow Called Shot Iron Will Great Fortitude
Other notable changes over Planewalker: AB +2 AC +4 Damage +1 Skill points -40 (this means you might have to actually put more points into Int) Reflex +2 Will +2
-Loss of waterbreathing -Loss of 5% immunities

Now that Flurry Of Spikes is Level 60, and I have a handful of URs to equip him with, I am wondering about your gear reccomendations:
Weapon: DB bow Armor: Robes of Adoneiros Hawklight Belt: Mithril Coil Amulet: Lich-King's Phylactery Rings: Always changing for area-specific damage, UR/R combo rings Boots: UR boots, Coalwalker for regeneration, others for resistances Cloak: Ectoplasmic Weave Helmet: Titan's Top Gloves: Brazen Defiance
Where are you getting bonus WIS from? I do not have hawk's robes yet, or the ecto weave. Do these give WIS? The DB bows give DEX, and the hat gives STR/CON. I am curretnly using a hat with STR and druid belt for WIS/CON.
I am very happy with this build, having played several AAs before. Good saves, good damage, good defense ... Overall, very impressive.
P.S. Does anyone have hawk robes or ecto weave for trade?

I do not have hawk's robes yet, or the ecto weave. Do these give WIS? Hawklights give +12 to Dex and Wis. Ectoes don't have any stat bonuses.

So with the Tian's Top +12 to Str and Con and the robes you have all the major stats covered.

So with the Tian's Top +12 to Str and Con and the robes you have all the major stats covered. Correct; thus it is the equipment of choice. Granted I haven't seen much of the BUR equipment, so I cannot comment on the viability of those yet.

Well I have been waiting a long time to make this build. I did not want to create one or one of Mish's Durable Assassins until I got planewalker. Then I got a Half Fiend book on a beholder run I naturally created the Assassin first because the subby was geared towards that and I had a lot of gear for it and no DB bows for an AA. By the time I was level 42 I had 2 different DB bows and one other on loan. I then proceeded to build a Flurry of Arrows using Half Fiend. WOW! What an awesome character and VERY fun to play. I was lvl 44 when I started Illithids and only died twice, once because of a nasty lag spike. I just wanted to say thank you Balduvard for sharing this wonderful build. ~DL_007

Well I cannot honestly claim much credit for the basic build, as it had been tossed around among several of the vets--I just gathered the details into a cohesive format for the less, "freeform" builders out there. Regardless, I am glad to hear you enjoy it.

Hello,
I have a question...If i took 2 points out of con and put them into dex would that be ok? i ask because it seems with this build you arent going to get hit that much, even if you are invloved in head on combat, and the regen heals u up so fast it wouldnt really matter. Just a suggestion...What do you think?
