As my very first NWN spellcaster i have tried a mino version of Yue' original build - it a fun build to play. At the monent he is 4 P 33 Cl and i can play his as a fighter og as a spellcaster as I chose thats quit cool i think.
Thanks

Wondering how this build does as a battle cleric.. can you hit things with that AB in hells?

Well what I need to do is rework the build back to its original format 35 Cleric/4 Pal/1 Monk with Pharlan. No XP Penalities and the AB is in the low-mid 90's with all the trimmings. The FA version's AB is quite a bit lower but your AB is better than it looks because of Greater Restoration and Battletide. Plus you enable the rest of your group, provide an extra miracle, and girding of the faithful (which nobody seems to take anymore). Its not a primary tank but definitely something you'll want in your group. The original build needs to have craft weapon worked into the build as well. I'll get to it but I'm at work for the next 3 nights. I'm considering, reworking the build with another subrace and just ditching Divine Might for the UR version of the build. There's just so much to juggle and I'm not sure a UR race can pull it off convincingly.

Altered the FA version of the build. I think its much more playable now in the hells now thanks to ditching some charisma and Craft weapon....and some of the new changes for Strength Clerics. (Page 5)

as a str build you have lot of freedom when choosing a weapon, aim to those with good dmg types on their db/dis version; rapier isn't among the best ones.
it's mainly a matter of style anyway.

I was thinking, shouldn't the level progression be 35/3/2 Cleric/Paladin/Fighter? You lose evasion and gain two free feats, feats that should probably be spent on Blooded/LSA tumble. After all, 4 more AC over a skill dump is nice.

I did take LSA tumble. In terms of feats verses evasion thats a decision you could make. Personally how to make evasion and improved evasion more valuable has been a topic at nearly every DM meeting for over a year. Nothings been resolved, so I can't say what is coming. I tend to lean towards having it because Funky is evil.

*Snip* Thanks for the update btw. Was crunching numbers on my build. Now I don't have to. I'll go ahead and use yours. Again.....

Won't this have an XP penalty in Legendary Levels? OR, is that negated by the favored class setup (Base Race, Cleric - so FA=ignore cleric; human=ignore pally)?

No XP penalty because of the "base race" feature of the FA. Fallen angel gets you Cleric for free and then Human gets you Paladin for free.
