you mean besides the uber str and con and free toughness feat to get your needed feats for DD?

Maelephant would be great for this build. I have one with Maelephant that is lvl 40 and one with Salamander at lvl 50. If you can stand the uglyness that is Maelephant then it will make a great DD as you can do something other DDs cant... Use a Scythe and a Shield Imagine this build with 16-20 x6 criticals and large sized for KD if you use the KD pandect or work in the feats. Its nice. Great damage output and tough as nails. I played a Maelephant Barb up to Nessus but I just really cant stand to look at him anymore so I wont be playing this build with Mael, plus I like the feats and stat spread of Koly better anyway. ~DL

Sorry all, I was on break at my grandmother's, and had no intarsandwichsuperhighwaynet.
DL - My build, as written, gets 26 base con. It begins with 24, adding two from levels, for 26. I would join you guys in making this with Koly, but sadly I don't yet have the Golden Chalice of Melee Characters. Overall, AB isn't an issue with this build; it's an uber-wall of damage-soakage, it isn't meant to do a whole hell of a lot of damage. I'd much rather max my phys immunity, saves, AC, and DR, which is what I believe I did. Even then, the AB is good enough; Armatus performs perfectly fine in offense and the majority (80%) of his blows land, with more than a good chunk of crits (usually one or two per round). I would also agree with Maelephant as a very good candidate for this.
Raj - Fully buffed, my sheet says that Armatus's AB is 105. If the sheet lies, so be it; all I know is that I can hit things reliably, which is what counts in the end.
Star - I think it's taking the Dev crit chain of feats that is putting your saves into the gutter. I opted out of it on this build, as I did want as many save feats as I could take. Once I get my tendrils on Koly, I'll see what I can do. Undying might work as well, except that it's elf-only :/
If I misunderstood anybody, let me know...I'm tired.

Raj - Fully buffed, my sheet says that Armatus's AB is 105. If the sheet lies, so be it; all I know is that I can hit things reliably, which is what counts in the end. yup, sheet lies try fight with combat logs open again a combat dummie, or calculate it: base attack bonus is 30 weapon focus +1 legendary weapon focus +2 epic prowess +1 at level 5 weapon master +1 legendary attack bonus is +15 legendary weapon focus adds another +3 to the leg bab 52 str is a +21 bonus so it's base ( read: with a +0 dustbone weapon and no buffs ) 74; note, you are demigod so +2 str, another +1 ab, then it's 75+12 from olo'ra, if you're concerned about your numbers then when people tell you about this ''magic cap'' they are talking about the max attack bonus you can get from magical aid, be it a bard song, a gmw, a prayer, bless, whatever; it caps at +20 your max ab fully buffed will be 74+20 = 94 ( 95 for your demigod ); usually the cap is easily reached in hells with a +14 gmw and +6 from song, in LL with weaker bards ( or none ) it's worth carry some scabbards of blessing. if you read 100+ ab on your sheet it's because you received +16 gmw +7 song + 3 prayer +3 bless +1 aid -> 105 theoretical ( wrong ) ab, but it's a old know bug of nwn again, final ab can't be higher than 94 on the build posted. hey it's a good ab and plenty to hit the hardest mobs ( you need ab in the 110s only in order to disarm things ), I just wanted to be accurate.

It's no prob Raj; the clarification has helped. It's good to keep in mind for when I (and maybe someone else) make a WM, and AB actually matters a lot more.

First of all thank you, thank you, thank you! Great build. Used a couple of howler books (Thanks for the trade Funky) and build a slightly tweeked Apple tank out of my hubbies old Grim Stonebraker DD! What fun! Did my first hells run today and didn't use a heal until the the boss battle on TIA, same for Dis later in the day. Its been quite a treat not having to think as much as I have to when playing my casters, just click and kill! Still trying to round up some decent equipment but I cant wait to play her again. Thanks again!
