I think the humaniod races look great and wondered if I could make something fun and stompy. Most humaniods seemed to lend themselves to melee types but I wanted to try and work in some casting too. After reading through several battle cleric builds I think this one works without compromising too heavily.
Bugbears have nearly a dozen alternate appearances and with crafting shield and weapons you can get some really barbaric effects. This race looks very cool imo.

Weapon choice should be any non-large so that you can use a shield. Something with a decent crit range will maximize the effectiveness of Power Crit. I especially like the Morning Star animation, it looks very viscious but the chart below says it only crits on a 20. The light flail animation is also pretty good and you can craft the head into a rat; cast dark fire and divine favour and you can slay your enemies with the divine, flaming rat of doom!
