I have installed 1.69 linux client from bioware + the 1.29 resource files (~1.1GB). I then applied the linux patch to 1.69 (from bioware). Next I got CEP v2.2 from nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=hakpaks.Detail&id=7665 and installed that. I then installed the HGE Gui & override from HGwiki. Finally I installed hge_updater from hge_updater.zip. When I try to run using "./erf.linux -vm hge.hgweb.org/man/hgeg.txt" in my nwn directory I get an error that CEP 2.1 or higher must be installed. *** received hgeg.txt (6081/6081 bytes) You need to download CEP from NWVault and install it before running this program. The HGE updater can only update an existing CEP 2.1 or later installation. Please visit nwvault.ign.com/cep/ to find the CEP. Press Enter to continue. **** I am assuming I missed something obvious, but have been unable to find it. Or is one or more of the files in nwn\hak corrupted? --- Apparently file-roller doesn't want to create the directories in the CEP archive. I created the tlk directory and hopefully it works ... (what happened is I opened the hgeg.txt file to see if there was any info and then looked for the files that the updater requires and noticed that the nwn\tlk dir was missing). Update -- everything "seems" to be in place. Now I just need to put in the CD-keys and check if the frame rate is playable with a radeon mobility 9600 and the open source drivers.
