Note: The idea of the build is based more on making Planar Turning usable in a build. However for this quasi class to work requires a change to Turn Undead to do damage (shown below). The idea is that Turn Undead only does damage once Planar Turning feat is taken (and that requries 25 Wis and 25 Charisma).
Abjurer:
With the blessing of their god, a select few priests follow a different and dangerous path.
Our mortal plane requires balance and yet some unnatural beings will ignore the rules and break through to influence what is not their business.
Luckily most people are not aware of the battle that continually rages between the priests who vow to guard our plane and the various demons,devils, and intelligent undead that wish to hold dominion.
Trained in the arts of the divine and arcane to combat these forces the Abjurer is a formidable priest, a mortal enemy of those unnatural beings who break through to the mortal world.
Instinctively these beings know that the priests are their nemesis, reflecting the balance of the mortal plane.
Requirements: Must have 10 levels of Cleric, 10 levels of Sorcerer, and extra turning by 24.
Benefits:
- Spell DC for certain spells (see below) are equal to 10 + Spell level + Wisdom modifier + Charisma mofidier
- Caster levels for these same spells are equal to Cleric level + Sorc level
- All other spells follow standard rules for casterlevel and dc, relying on Sorcerer levels only or Cleric levels only depending upon spell
- Upon getting Planar Turning feat, the use of Turn Undead changes:
* Can only be used once every 5 rounds (and rest is still required when all are used)
* Now Damages what Turn Undead affects, equal to Cleric level x charisma bonus
Please note that some domains and also Planar Turning add other groups to the affect of Turn Undead.
