since theres been so many lately, might as well post my own: the inquisitor, a specialized holy warrior dedicated to fighting spellcasters
requirements:
15 pal / 10 wiz by 27
specialized in abjuration
courteous magocracy
greater spell focus abjuration
weapon focus: mace/flail (pick one)
skill focus: discipline
20 ranks spellcraft
upon achieving inquisitor status, the player receives weapon specialization, epic spell focus: abjuration and spell resistance equal to spellcraft ranks, including bonuses from feats but not from spells/items. the inquisitor may use the abjuration epic even if they would not otherwise qualify, but still follows the standard rules for other epics. the inquisitor gets spellcraft as a class skill in legendary levels
the inquisitor casts abjuration spells at clevel (pal + wiz*2), not including legendary levels. paladin spells are cast at clevel (pal + wiz/2), including legendary levels
the inquisitor may cast the dispel line of spells as a swift action. breach spells, instead of lowering target spell resistance, will instead inflict arcane spell failure equal to (10 * normal sr reduction)%. mordenkainens disjunction will not drop sr, but can be cast as an aoe without affecting party members
while under the influence of divine might, the inquisitor deals magic kb equal to inquisitor level (including legendary levels) when struck by a spell. while under the influence of divine shield, the inquisitor can reroll a failed save vs spell (similar to slippery mind)
greater smite can be toggled to stun enemies instead of damaging them, for 1 round per 10 inquisitor levels (not including legendary levels) at a dc equal to (inquisitor level) + (legendary level / 2) + (spellcraft / 20)
