Not a fully fleshed out idea yet.
Soulrots are Druids who have fallen away from their teachings. They pervert their knowledge of nature and shapeshifting for personal gain, delighting in causing pain and suffering, either for personal satisfaction or in the name of their evil deity.
Requirements
15 BG (impossible to get epics if you want to splash)
x Druid
becomes permanently Evil
Weapon Focus: Scythe
Devastating Critical on a Soulrot's Scythe, in addition to its normal effects, gives Vampiric Regen equal to Soulrot level / 3.
Don't see enough Vampiric Regen on this server.
If the Soulrot has the Epic Dodge feat and at least 25 base Dexterity, each time the feat is activated, the Soulrot emits a small AoE Vampiric Touch spell centered on itself, ignoring SR, with CL equal to half its level.
It's nice to have Dexer quasis too.
All Necromancy and BG spells are cast with full BG + Druid level. All Cure Wound spells become Inflict Wound spells instead. These spells use Strength, Dexterity, or Wisdom, whichever is highest, to calculate DC.
The Soulrot can use Undead Shapes to gain temporary abilities. The Soulrot does not actually shapeshift, similar to the Ranger's Polymorph spell. Selecting Risen Lord gives the Soulrot a weaker version of an Assassin's Mortal Strike for one round per two levels, up to three turns at level 60. Selecting Spectre gives their Scythe an on-hit level drain attack, with a DC against Fortitude at Soulrot level - 10 + .5 per Necro or Spell Penetration feat, which is a max of DC 54 at 60 with all feats. Selecting Vampire automatically slows the movement speed of the Soulrot, and giving it an aura which lowers Strength, Constitution, and Dexterity of any nearby creatures by one per 15 levels (up to 4 at L60 pure), plus 2 with LSF Necro, plus 1 with Legendary Spell Penetration, without a save.
Critical Hit immunity is available if one goes BG and Str.
Maybe additional abilities for other shapes?
