Higher Ground will be upgrading to CEP 2.3 a couple of weeks after it is released (CEP 2.3 will be released before the end of this month). Most of CEP 2.3 is already in the CEP Updater, so using the HGE or CEP updater now and selecting to update CEP will let you start the download/update process now. There will likely be a number of small additional updates in the CEP Updater when CEP 2.3 final is released.
This is just an early heads-up for people who may be on slow connections and who can use the CEP/HGE Updater. CEP 2.3 content will be used extensively in the Abyss, Hades and other new areas coming out soon.

I upgraded today and can share that the amount of time involved was quite significant. I estimate 2 hours. This will almost certainly make subsequent updates quicker. I will probably update once per week and can provide comments in this thread if helpful.

I don't know the size of the update but the process is time consuming no matter what the speed of the connection.

Updated again today, 1 week after the initial update. Lots of additions; took about 20 minutes.

I must be doing something very basic wrong... starlanda, load down Higher Ground Enhanced Updater (can be found under "downloads" in the top of this forum). Unzip that, put it into your nwn-mainfolder and doubble-click on i.e. HGE_Update_Standard.lnk for the standard version of HG. You will be asked if you want to updated HG-Enhanced (type ENTER) and when it's done if you want to update CEP ("y" = yes). Drink something refreshing while you have to wait untill its finish. Yours Torin Edit: I would take a dragon powny too

Where are you running this from, Star? I had that and then changed to C:\NeverwinterNights\NWN
There is also a batch file that looks for the old CEP and terminates if it can't find a file called (I think) CEP21_v1.tlk in the TLK directory
Hope this helps
