perhaps the best thing I like about this character is that it's a Half-Guardinal (a rather underused race).
I think I'm going to try this build somewhere in the future. Except I don't have Half-Guardinal. I do have Shard: Strength 8 Dexterity 14 (18) Constitution 12 (16) Intelligence 16 Wisdom 14 Charisma 12 (16)
Down 4 points of strength and have no evasion, but you gain super-hero-speed and 60 more hitpoints. With demi iterations, more strength might be bought for better Hells versatility.

shard was my other choice, but the strength bonus and the fact shard woiuld get an xp pen were huge factors. Im at work atm and replying by phone, but if i catch you in game i have a few hg books if you want one.

Got this x5 demigod last night (MY FIRST ONE WOOOT) and it has done splendidly in every run it's been on.
Got 280k damage in nessus last night, only beaten by Test072's wizard which was heavy damage focus landing him around 418k. Next highest was Trazik's AA at 193k.
I'd highly recommend this build if anyone wanted to make a CoT for abyss and hell runs. After getting x2 demi you might consider dropping 2 dex for 2 str, or using a strength arti in place of dex for the instakill and stun immunity.
I like the idea of this build. It's stupid good defensively (basically mind immune, great soak, etc), and should do pretty well offensively.
One thing I noticed, is your saves are through the roof; probably way in abundance of anything you'd need. Without the charisma bonus to saves from Paladin, your lowest save is Will, still at 64. I suppose maybe 62 pre-demi. That's still really good. I'm thinking about dropping Paladin for Fighter, ala Mish's Blackguard build, to get Epic Weapon Specialization. With the extra Fighter feats, you could even afford some save feats to boot. Saves wouldn't be anywhere near what you have here, but should be fine for all current areas of the mod, and you'd get 4 more feats to play around with. If you assume 2 feats go towards saves (if you wish), you could take WF/EWF in a third weapon, to cover pierce, slash, and bludge. Or you could use them on other things, like ESF: Listen or something like that. It seems to provide a lot of flexibility, while still retaining saves that should be good anywhere in the mod.
I'm thinking about dropping Paladin for Fighter...
Bear in mind that Paladin also offers class based Fear immune at level 2 (works against some stuff that item based Fear immune doesn't)... that's pretty powerful. Not saying Fighter isn't also a good option, just to bear in mind that you're not just trading away higher saves. If you used a WIS arti, i think that offers the same level of Fear immunity as Paladin Fear immunity and you could go with Fighter for the extra feats.
That's probably a good point, and maybe shouldn't be discounted. I was thinking how much more damage you could do wth this many attacks and Epic Weapon Spec, but you're right, that some things would ignore the Fear immunity on items, specifically in the Abyss and Elysium so far.
The Wis arti isn't a bad option, because it would still give you the +1 AC you get from the dex one; you'd just give up 1 AB, as compared with the dex one. Or compared to the str one, you'd get +1 AC, but lose the ability to attempt an instkill one time per day, and protect you from the Bodak, as Mish said.
Meh, I was also looking at the screenshot, not his actual saves. Looks like Paladin probably is the best bet then. I was able to come up with something very similar with Fighter, but it requires Iron/Legendary Will, and Great Fort, to have all saves over 60 pre-demi. Probably not worth it.
