So I find myself 2 days into a few day stint at a hospital (everyone's ok just waiting for a recovery period to pass now).
It's boring. Really boring. I have internet access, but I am not able to play NWN here. I can neither connect to gamespy nor see any servers. I am guessing that the ports are blocked on the hospital firewall.
I've done a bit of googleing and have played with a few proxifier programs, but I'm at about the limits of my tech knowledge at this point.
Any suggestions other than wait 2 more days til I am home?

For the sake of 2 days id wait.. but it should be possible to tunnel the nwn session through a non blocked port.. Ive never used it personally but something like SocksCap might help. You'd need a computer outside of the hospital firewall to tunnel to that would act as a proxy to the nwn servers. eg, your laptop sends all nwn data through a non-blocked port like 443 or 80 to your homepc.. which then sends it to the nwn servers and sends the data back to you on the non-blocked ports. So yeah.. id wait get well soon

Yeah, I found some proxy software to tunnel it all out of a noon-blocked port but i need a pc to tunnel too etc.... which i dont have.
As a few have said, I may just end up not bothering, but it's worth a try.
