I think I've figured it out. Take Leg Will later, take Epic Skill Focus now.

Question is, what do I take for a feat at level 39? As listed in the build: Level 39, Shadowdancer (29)Great Dexterity VIII Great Dexterity gives +1 dexterity. You get +1 AB and AC for every 2 points in dexterity.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. I was following your previous version of the build and I already have Great Dex VIII. I can't remember what your previous build had (didn't start recording my character plans in my magic spreadsheet until recently), but it looks like it only took 9 GrDex feats since it started with odd Dex. So I have two "free" feats in Legendary Levels to fill up. One will be used for Legendary Will. Not sure about the other. I'll figure it out - Niilo

Will give this another look over. I'm just wondering if you can't afford able learner driven Discipline why didn't you give up up the investment save feat strong soul and invest in full dis with bullheaded and lsa disp? There are a number of discipline checks that could be quite costly for a new player.

Everybody wants max. discipline on that build. Ok ok. I’ll had a deep lock at it. If discipline should be maxed, then full to the engine limit of 127. But how, and how on this dexer, that requires ESF Discipline…. I think I found a solution: Change stats at beginning to - 2 Con, -2 Cha +2 Int => +63 skillpoints Saves: -2, -1, -1. -60 Hitponts. Then Saves are 63, 83, 59 That is doable. (lowest is will, 63 with Dim Maks) Take Blindfight for Imp. Crit. and don’t need listen => +63 skillpoints ESF (Discipline) for ESF (open locks) and +10 open locks; another -30 skillpoints CA 30 -> 20 Test in [Test] chamber. Works (Gonna now edit the build)

This looks pretty good. The only thing is the low con score which can't be helped. You're not going to get hit much at all with this but that doesn't stop area kick back such as in dustbone or the black pyramid. Using a BUR subrace will really help this build, but until that time I think a new player will enjoy playing this and being a fully functional rogue.

Bad News: I just lost Dalendel at level 40. Good News: I get to redo this build with your recent edits! And without making mistakes on skill progression. I really like this build especially with the switch to Paladin levels, so I'll probably start it again right away.

The build has become even better now because of max. discipline. Use !list skills

I'm having a go at this build, and I have two quick questions if someone can help me.
Firstly is hide in plain sight any use? I notice there are no points in hide (or move silently) in this build, or any SD build I've looked at for this server? I was wondering if it had been replaced by the Shadow Evade ability? I'm a bit confused about how that all works?
And secondly can someone tell me about what sort of level I might want to go looking for the Shadow Rift item?

Currently there does seem to be minimal use for the skill particularly since at least one of the abilities, I think Shadow Evade and Shadow Step, of the SD eventually adds a GS effect.

What exactly does a GS to. Is there anything that will still hit you once your in GS? (other than AOE)
I assume it breaks and things will hit you again once you attack something?

GS = Greater Sanctuary = Nothing can see you until you make an aggressive action or have an aura which does

In general this makes you "safe" and "undetectable" but as he says anything that "breaks" GS will cancel the effect. This includes but is not limited to intended attacks, hostile auras, any hostile spell.
There are some catches.
One is that you can unintentionally break GS by AoOing something (attack of opportunity--which you have on control over).
Ranged mobs from a distance away can "penetrate" the etheralness effect. This distance is "far" but it's reallllly all not that far so be wary.
You can still be cleaved into.
You can also still provoke and be hit by AoOs.
Oh, also magical Darkness either negates, or otherwise "glitches" the effect. Be wary of this as well, especially in certain areas replete with darkness effects.
