Hi there i recently reinstalled NWN diamond on my computer that runs windows 7 64bit and after updating the cep through the arf2 and logging on, the game is laggy and some of the objects are painted completely white. i've also tried running bioware's cep updater with the same results. I recently installed another copy of diamond on a computer with windows 7 and once everything was updated it runs fine. so i am at a loss as to why i cant get it running on another computer

for your first post, id suggest reinstalling NWN again, if this doesnt solve the issue, try running it in win xp mode.
for your second post, the CD in use usually hapens when a server has just gone down, you need to wait 5 mins to log back into another server. character denied happens when you try to log into a server with your account details, but using a different set of CD keys

white objects arent related to NWN installation as far as I know... you are probably with an old or beta version of your video card driver. Trying to update it would solve (or using a previous version that was tested already).

I always thought this was a CEP graphics bug. A simple restart of NWN almost always fixes it.

I always thought this was a CEP graphics bug. A simple restart of NWN almost always fixes it. if the quickbar consists of white dots, and also some of the inventory, Trazik is right on the money. A simple restart solves it every time. Herc

If the objects are the items in inventory then trazik is right If the objects are things in the world (like a chair, or clothes someone is using) then its your driver. I just understood the second option when I first read this, but now that others mentioned that other problem it could also be that
