Summons The blade is a good option then, as one can empower/maximize to burn level 2-3 slots if needed with channel +3 i.e. CL 63. Most of times I would stick with Maximized summon V tough. Well GS can be swapped for Great Planar Binding, nowadays every Evil caster would agree, I think.
Level 2 spell Given the orbs and acid fog, I'll stick with Cloud and Web/Vocalize
Legend Lore, Polar Ray and Great Sanctuary Well, Legend Lore is due to my lack of gear, so it will be discarded at 60. Thanks. I do like polar ray, the "freeze works on stuff that doesn't take cold damage, helping a lot on mob control. That leaves me between Sunburst, Mind Blank and Greater Sanctuary. I've found GS is quite handy with Gate, Divination Epic and Transmutation Epic tough.

I am coming back to HG after having been gone awhile so please excuse the ignorance as it has been awhile since I made a toon and this is the one I decided to re-start with. I'm at level 22 and I only have 3 spellls in levels 6 through 9. I see 4 in this build (w/o the extra spell known) what am I missing? Also I notice tumble do you just dump 2 points when available into this skill? or does something happen at Legendary level (I seem to remember something with a specific feat which I don't think is pertinent with this build). Also you mention reading a Tome of Spell Penetration is this just Spell Penetration or Greater Spell Penetration? or is there such a thing?
anthrak: You'll only get the extra spells at legendary levels, simply touch the pedestal in the docks . The Spell Penetration tomb gives you Epic Spell Penetration (so Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Penetration, and Epic Spell Penetration in one go). It's a fairly easy to get tomb, or you can buy one often for around 10-20million gp if you can't get one.
For tumble I believe it's just dump a point as available.
