So I'm sitting here in Tuscanny in this gorgeous villa with an anwesome porch and view of Orvieto and I'm not able to wander around as much as I usually would due to a 6 month old napping in the 2nd bedroom half the day.
So, there's a tv here with network access (only IE, not a real pc or at least no access for me). Popping the network cable from that tv into my laptop seems ot get me full network access. I can download files, I can use skype, I can check the web, etc,,,
However, when I try to log one (be it with Arf or just normal NWN executables) I fail. I get to character selection, and then when I choose a character, it just closes. Bam, no message nothing. NWN just shuts down and drops me to the desktop.
Any ideas? A blocked port? Something I can get around? It'd be a shame to have to sit here, sip wine, eat cheese and pasta and just read good books as the sun sets.

Swap u the sitting there sipping wine, eating cheese and pasta and reading a good book while the sun sets in Tuscanny for sitting in the living room of my flat in London reading the forums and playing HG while trying to decide how I'm gunna fix all the problems my clients have on Monday Cata
