Hello I've been playing on the server for about a week now and I've finally been emailed my CD keys from the site that I bought the game from. What I didn't know was that the server also used CD key verification for accounts so right now I can't play.
I have two characters on the servers. One random one and one fighter/wizard who's name is (Random elvish first name) Hawkeye.
My account name is LegendReborn15. I hope this can be resolved as soon as possible as the server is lots of fun to play on.

You can actually solve this issue by yourself in game. Just log back in game with the CD keys you firstly used, and then use pc scying device in your inventory, it will allow you to do changes to your account, there is a suboption to allow another set of CD keys able to access to this account. After you choose it, you should be able to log this account with another set of CD keys you wish.
And welcome to HG.

I'm actually unable to do that now without reinstalling the whole game because the CD keys used before were generic keys given to those who bought from the site.

You can only use 7 CD keys per accounts, but a CD key can be used on as many accounts as you want. I have 15 keys and 16 accounts. You can keep all the keys in your CDkey file and comment them out.

I already replaced the file. I didn't want to keep the generic keys because firstly they were associated with many other people who were also trying to play (I essentially would try to log onto the server every five or so minutes for an hour until I got on while I did other things). I don't have them anymore and I don't want to have to reinstall the game all over to recover a single file.
The issue isn't that the key was associated with many accounts but with many people and it wasn't one I even wanted to posses in the first place so I replaced the file and assumed I could log in only to find out that cd keys were associated with our in game characters on the server.

Your CD Key will be cleared so you will able to log in again. Apologies for the misunderstandings, I will add a section to our installation guide concerning this so that players are aware of the system.

Thank you. This is especially important as many players are now buying through GOG which has had a great lag in releasing CD keys so I wouldn't be surprised if more cases like this pop up at a larger rate.

We'll take care of it as soon as those cases pop up, but I will now be tracking any users that log in with that CD Key in order to warn them of the situation.
Your key has been cleared, so you are good to log in. Thank you.

You should use the PC Scry to add that CD Key to the list of allowed keys for that account, prior to replacing CD Keys with new ones. This will save a great deal of time for us. Let me know if you are unable to do this.
For verification purposes, when (approximately) was the last time your dad logged in?
