-Changed some weapon critical ranges and multipliers to make more of them useful. Details on the Class and Equipment Info board in the docks. -Shifter construct forms are now immune to amnesia. -Bugfixes.
NOTE: THE CHANGES TO WEAPONS WILL NOT SHOW ON YOUR CHARACTER SHEET, BUT WILL WORK. WE WILL BE RELEASING AN OVERRIDE FILE YOU CAN USE TO MAKE THEM SHOW INGAME. WE WILL NOTE THIS INGAME IN THE NEXT UPDATE.

Just read the update, looks nice !.
The bonus AC for dwarven defender with dwarven axe. Would it mean that if I have a >+8 shield, the +12 would merge to a total of +20 shield ac ?

Very nice indeed. Did I read Halberd correctly, or could there perhaps be 1-2 typos? Just asking. Regardless, we melee character builders thank the Devs very kindly Trazik EDIT: Nvm, I found Acaos's post in the Light Hammers thread.

Any 18-20 weapon with 5 WM levels (7 improves the critical multiplier not the range eg. x2 goes to x3), improved critical (feat) and keen (item property) will give you a final crit range of 10-20.

The other way around, actually. WM5 improves multiplier, WM7 adds 2 to crit range with Ki Critical. Acaos

Is there any detail on how short bow AC is working? Is it an ability that is being added to individual bows (e.g. a Defender Bow, Attack +5, Haste, AC +5. Mighty Defender Bow, Attack +10, Haste, Mighty 5, AC +10). Or more like Dwarven axes, having a bonus based upon the wielder's stats? For bows, this is obviously a great boost, either way.
Most shields at immortal and above have at least a +10 bonus, along with some other abilities. The dwarven waraxe is then giving a maximum of +2 AC, and many shields have a higher AC bonus. Dual-wielding may be possible, but the more traditional picture of a Dwarf is behind a large shield. I'm not sure the best way to use this news, or what the intended use is. All advice gratefully received.
EDIT: A +10 Tower Shield gives a total of 13AC (3 from being a tower shield, 10 from enhancement) . If none of this stacks with Dwarven Axe AC, then I can't see how the bonus is ever going to be relevant to an immortal shield-user.

The intent of the DD / Dwarven Waraxe change was to give Dwarven Defenders the option of dualing with their excellent immunities. Losing Shield AC entirely hurt far too much, but with the change it will hopefully be more feasible.
Shield AC does not stack.

It'd only go up to +20 anyways >_>
So with 34 Con, that'd be the equivalent of a +9 Tower Shield...
