-Death of Magic has had its duration shortened to 4 rounds, but no longer blocks the magic of allies. -Starfire now uses full Pale Master caster level. -The infestation of extra Guardians in the maze has been cleaned up. -Bard Song and Curse Song now overwrite weaker songs. -Sound Burst now adds caster level to damage. -Lifethreading has received some tuning. See the book for details. -Turned targets may receive up to one Will save each round to free themselves if damaged. -All weapons other than kamas now grant Shield AC instead of Deflection AC. -Bug and exploit fixes.

hmm, I dance, for it is good. ... .... Anyway, I think that that shield ac is very good (dual wielding, yaay!), and love the dom change and mazee changes, xD. Not being with nwn atm I can't wait to see what changes are implemented, xD.

Please note that Lost Souls of Vashyk are doing positive kickback rather than negative. This will be fixed next time the servers reset.

-All weapons other than kamas now grant Shield AC instead of Deflection AC. Did I miss something? All weapons now give an AC bonus, which is Shield AC, except kamas which give Deflection AC? Are there more details on this somewhere?

Maybe he refers to weapon that already have +ac as an magical enhancement. It was mostly quite useless deflection ac.

I love the change to threading, it make the quassi still powerfull but over time looses effectiveness and strength. Also nice that you can set the max spell lvl you want drained so you could build around the threading for more versatility.

Clarification(s) requested about the weapon/AC change:
Does this mean weapon enhancement or attack bonus provide shield AC in all (except Kama, of course)) cases (thinking about dual handaxe wielder as an example)?
Does GMW provide AC then (thinking about dustbone versus dispater versus lvl 35 rare weapons as an example)?
Does this apply only to Dwarven Waraxe (in terms of the weapon property update)?
Thanks in advance,
Trazik

No; this means if you see an AC bonus on a weapon, it is of the Shield type now, even if it shows as Deflection AC. You will see the following when you examine it:
Armor Bonus: +X (AC Deflection Modifier)
What we have done is we have server-side changed that 'Deflection' to 'Shield'.

Is this going to result in a change to Dwarven Axe. It's "boon" was that it added shield ac, this looks to be even less use now than it was before..... (from marginally useful to even less so).

No change to dwarven waraxe at all. Weapons do not automatically get any AC added; all that has changed is the underlying type of AC they might grant. Hence, the only weapons which currently get any AC added (other than a very few low-AC ones found in the mod) are dwarven waraxes wielded by dwarven defenders.
This change was more about giving us more options to do similar things for other classes or quasis in the future.

Do shortbows now have a bonus to ac? I remember reading that would be instituted, yet mine seems to give no bonus.

They don't at the moment; they -may- get an automatic AC bonus similar to dwarven waraxes in the future.

Regarding the LT changes,
The DC calculation using the Wisdom mod will favor the pure or at least very high Wisdom version of the LT. My level 43 Wisdom based (ALL increases went into Wisdom on an Anarch based pure build) is very very very squishy. I died & fugued so many times I restarted the build as a Con based build. Now I'll have to scrap that one if I want to beat the Fort saves, and go back to the Squishy Wisdom build. I'm not really disagreeing with the toning down of the damage of the LT - it was too good to last. I just wish that a method could have been found that would have allowed Con & Dex based builds w/o such a severe penalty to beating the Fort save ...
Thanks,
Kaldair
P.S. Also talked to a high level Str LT that considered themselves very squishy as well. Maybe change the DC check to be the highest mod, instead of just Wis?
