I'm trying to figure out how much XP I would lose from a reincarnation. I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the XP loss % varies depending on the amount of XP you have, however I can't seem to find this info anymore. I checked the Reincarnation section on the Wiki and the Reincarnation FAQ on this board but neither seem to mention it. Can someone help me out?

Re: Reincarnation: Get XP beyond 12.5 mio « Reply #7 on May 5, 2011, 1:53pm » This is a table of the XP loss. Funky confirmed that it was a linear scale from 12.5 to 125, decreasing from 20% to 1%.
XP_m XP_loss% XP_loss_m 12.5 20.0% 2.5 25 17.9% 4.5 37.5 15.8% 5.9 50 13.7% 6.8 62.5 11.6% 7.2 75 9.4% 7.1 87.5 7.3% 6.4 100 5.2% 5.2 112 3.1% 3.5 125 1.0% 1.3
This is the equation to tell you exactly how much XP you will lose at a given XP level.
XP loss = XP*(21+(10/9)-XP/12.5*(1+10/9))/100

XP loss = XP*(21+(10/9)-XP/12.5*(1+10/9))/100 Need to use millions of xp for XP in the calculation. Typing y=(x*(21+(10/9)-x/12.5*(1+10/9))/100) in search engine comes up with handy graph. Is there an easyish way to do the calculations for pre-reincarnation xp needed for each level? With a table to include various xp bonus and penalty combinations ?

If you reinc anything with more than 125M exp it gets reset to 125M, pretty sure I remember getting more exp on a character I reincarnated from a race that had a penalty to one that didn't which actually surpassed the loss from doing it before level 80.
