After extensive playtesting and theorycrafting I must unfortunately report that the offensive variant of this build is completely obsolete. Sadly, the only way now to do competitive damage on a pure rogue would be to go str, use a 2 hand and wear a wrap of the dark prince. You'd lose 5 ab and wouldn't be a tank, but you'd hit like a truck.
The defensive variant of this build however would still hold up well and be quite viable. Simply replace imp sneaks with self conceal, ditch the toyshop boots, and I'd recommend a non slaggable weapon. Sap would be a good choice, and would save you a proficiency feat. I will be editing the build shortly to reflect my findings.

If you want to enjoy the ab from opportunist and the 50% damage bonus from two-handed weapons you can make a small sized character wielding a morning star since they count as rogue light weapons regardless of how you wield them; same goes for sling and light crossbow. The double physical (bludge and pierce) on morning stars would help to bypass immunities or resists for that huge physical damage as well (phys damage on my crossbow rogue is around 120 with all the imp sneak feats, so 180 for a two-hander before counting str, enh bonus on the weapon and various stuff like bard song, prayer or the druid paragon spell to name examples).
You'd still have all the defensive downsides when it comes to rogue str tanks without shield; but someone crazy enough might actually try this.

Interesting, I wasn't getting some of the benefits of opportunist and crippling strike with morning stars on a med toon, which was actually my first weapon choice. Also, pretty much regardless you need a wrap, and you are no longer a tank

I tried using a morning star on a halfling in the [test] chamber. I did get the extra 5 ab from int by lvl 40 (it shows under the ability tag when you do a !list ab) and also the +1 threat range (it was 16-20 with just imp crit and crippling strike, no keen). I didn't hit the monkey that often to confirm a x3 crit and it's hard to see in the test chamber anyway, as sneak attack doesn't get multiplied, so you won't really notice without extra elemental damage.

You should get +50 % damage with every hit.
i. e. if damage on character is 1-8 + 25 => ~30 in the mean, the the test monkey should take about 45 in the mean for non crits.

We still come back to the problem of that build being a melee damage dealer that tanks poorly if at all, and deals terrible damage if it does. It's also dependent on a specific piece of gear that drops extremely rarely from a non trivial part of the mod. I'd personally rather bring a lootlich/wizard/zen etc than that build.
