-Many messages from the Scry and SIMtools commands are now sent over the Server channel so they can be read with the combat log off. -The server will now automatically reset after 12 hours of uptime. Players can vote to delay a reset temporarily when the automatic announcements occur. At least 3 players must vote to delay a reset using the !delayreset command. There may be occasional resets which cannot be delayed. -Turner clerics can now enable and disable immobilization of turned foes with !opt turnimmob. This does not work for Miracle. -A level 16 AA quiver has been added to the mod. -Parry skill is now useful. Characters with over 20 Parry lower critical hit damage by 1% per 2 points of Parry skill over 20, to a maximum of 50% with 120 Parry. 100 Parry grants immunity to Assassin Devastating Critical as well. -Characters with at least 21 class levels of fighter now receive pseudo-concealment against critical hits equal to (5 + (fighter class level / 2))%. This does NOT include legendary levels. See the fighter book from the Item Shop for details. -Note that more lesser-used skills and feats will become more useful soon. We intend to offer a reincarnation system in the near future for a short time to rebuild older characters disadvantaged or obsoleted by recent changes. -Players are now autosaved occasionally to prevent lost time and effort. -Bug and exploit fixes.

Looks like there was a network hiccup. I got knocked off too, but the servers didn't crash or anything.

The reincarnation system sounds like a great idea. Any way we can get details? Or do we have to wait patiently, fingers dumbing on the desks, eyes bloodshot, nervously twitching, slowly losing our minds ... EDIT to add: how much warning will be given before auto-resets? I like the idea, but my only concern is (predictably) what happens if the warning and/or reset happens during a boss fight? The messages showing up in the Chat window will certainly make it easier to see, and a certain responsibility falls to the party to plan their time, but I imagine using PC Scry during a boss fight might be a bit awkward (never tried it, tbh). I am aware of a few runs which have lasted more than 5 hours, through bad luck mostly. Trazik

You'll get details on the reincarnation system when we finalize it. Why would you need to use the pc scrye? The delay is via chat command. Intervals are 15 minutes iirc. Funky

Oops, I read that line item a bit too fast. -Many messages from the Scry and SIMtools commands are now sent over the Server channel so they can be read with the combat log off. In case anyone is still a bit unclear on this (like I was) you need to "include Server messages" into the left chat window for it to work. I think there is a toggle in one of the .INI files, cuz atm I need to do this every time I login

I found a crash bug in this update that did not show up in our testing. It will be fixed next time servers reset, and I am resetting them now as well.
Sorry for any inconvenience, Acaos

I dont think u need to turn it on. but it would sound more fair if u had to.

You say it would be more fair if you had to switch it on but I'm not convinced about that as increasing your Int to get the needed skill points would hurt a lot of builds and most are going to gain 10-20% critical immunity (before items) which is nice but not a deal breaker. I think this is good in that it gives all builds the ability to have some % critical immunity which is a clever way of generally slightly reducing critical hit damage without messing with the mobs and forcing people to rethink slightly when creating characters. It also potentially gives the remaining Str tank builds (RDDs) some defense against critical hits made easier by having discipline as a class skill and Int points from RDD stat boosts.
