Might be a good idea for someone to manually track the more important sales (ego items, arties, well auged/randomized BURs, the better set items etc). That someone could be the person who bought and/or the items in question. We can make a thread for each such thing and the history for the sale prices would go in there.
For randomized/auged items we could either make a screen shot or c/p or just type out the properties. Thoughts?

Or a code-savvy person could use the data I linked to build a program that automatically tracks such data. Better yet: a webpage much like the market page with market histories! But hey, if you want to do it manually, go for it.

Oh, I totally agree the former option is better than the latter, and a webpage with market histories much better than that. But failing those, at least for the time being, it would be great if people manually entered sale histories.
