how come crumble no longer instant kills tubes? if it was ebcuase of ppl using scrolls why not just make it effective at 40 druid lvls or somthing but when ever i use crumble now just does a few hundred dmg... and great updates btw theyve made builds much more flexible and hell runs much more fun/stressful

Maybe because the tubes fort saves were bugged? Funky

To expand on what Funky mentioned, if they do fail their fort save, they will be instaed. Acaos

Suggestion now that reincarnation is over. How about making an artifact item or pandect that can drop that would give you the ability to reincarnate the toon that has used the item dropped (only that toon and not other toons the holder may have). The reincarnation functionality was really cool and it would be kind of interesting to have it available going forward in some capacity and I thought this may be a good way of doing it.
What do you think?

My opinion was that crumble instantly killing the tubes every time was way overpowered. Big damage number ala cleric inflict would still be huge but more in line. I'd even be in favor of toning inflicts down (especially as it doesn't seem to make much sense, while at least crumble sounds like it should damage them).

Inflicting tubes is one of the only things inflict is good for. Minauros tears and tubes. ADDED: And the immortal, can't forget how fun it is to kill him with them.

If the tube does make its save against Crumble, it still takes CLd10 damage, which is quite a bit. Acaos

Seems reasonable to me -- 300ish damage with a chance to instantly destroy it, vs. a bombard which would do the same damage to multiple tubes but no insta-kill chance. It was the fort saves being so low that almost any druid could one-shot every one of them that bugged me. High level clerics will be inflicting them for 600-1000 points each, but single target and no chance of insta-kill.
P.S. Cath, don't forget the Voice. Too bad it doesn't do something like vulnerability, -10 regen, or stat drop if they're immune to NEG but fail their save, so clerics would use it more often.

We holy men aren't too fond of getting within sword/claw/teeth range of mobs.
