I'm sorry you have the Windows 8 virus the only fix I know of so far is to wipe your drive and reinstall Windows 7

Using ARF, it seems I can only connect to HUB 1, all the other servers time out. Even if I connect to HUB 1 and try to do the '!portal' command, it still says the server timed out. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I restarted, shut down my comp, gonna try to reset my router to see if that works. Still getting the occasional crashes if anyone knows how to help with those.

Might be routing issues with your home network causing the time outs what type of home network do you have and has the configuration by customized in anyway?
For the crash it might be something with the Windows 8 and drivers not being compatible or fully compatible with NWN. You could try adjusting and perhaps minimizing your graphics settings and slowly boosting and adjusting until you find what is triggering the crashes.

if you're use ATI graphics, try to check drivers version. NWN dont work with newer versions (12.2 and higher)
PS they added Win 8 compability in 12.10+ versions, so i can suggest only to return to win 7

This problem must be one with newer graphic boards. with an ati 4870x2 on win7 and 12.6 drivers I encounter no probs at all. But that is propably because they stoped developing the drivers for that series any further at 12.2.

I am running windows 8 and have not had any problems with crashes, I also have latest ATI drivers installed and using no compatibility mode settings. Can you list some system specs? Ie. processor and graphics card?
