Vichya: Any way to get HGX to work with this? =D @rooj Acaos: Anyway to get this to work with your modified .exes? It looks like the scroll-out distance has been changed but the fog/view-distance hasn't been changed, and I'm sure the projectile fix hasn't been implemented.

From the looks of it this is a loader, not a replacement for the client exe. In theory it should be capable of launching the modified exe's instead of default nwmain.. unless I'm missing something? Is your modified exe named 'nwmain.exe'?

I believe you can run HGX after neverwinter starts: If NWN is already running when you start Hgx.exe then it will use this session instead of starting NWN again
I'm not sure whether there would be any conflict between the NWNCX exe and HGX however (no idea if NWNCX hooks the same functions.. or modifies functions HGX hooks). Maybe Vichya knows?
In any case, if you can upload the patched exe to a dropbox folder I can re-add the HG modifications for you.

I have already added support for that to HGX when I first heard about it, I just haven't uploaded an update for some time.
It's a pretty simple patch, basically it just replaces "gamespy.com" with "nwncore.net" or something like that. HGX will do that on the loaded image, so the executable isn't changed at all.

Unfortunately it seems that my changes won't work. I thought it would be a simple change of the URL in the image but it appears NWNCX does a lot more than that.
You can start NWNCX_loader.exe, and then start HGX.exe after that.

I'll ask vman/skywing about a merge of some kind.

There is also the option of converting HGX into a NWNCX style plugin. I wanted to avoid making users install HGX into the NWN directory but it's certainly an option.
