I agree with all except for Reunite the Halves, the bard gloves. While Perform is indeed easy to maximize Persuade isn't unless the bard has high charisma. If you look at the bard set and random gear you will find persuade only on a few items.
I would still like to have one change made to them: give them some pick pocket bonus too. My bard mostly uses the Bracers of Many Eyes from aboleth mostly because this is one of the very few items with a PP bonus on them.

Thanks. If either of you, or anyone else, would like to suggest specials for the underpowered items, I'm all ears. I'm currently stuck on Each Seeking to Control. I have a range of possibilities noted, but nothing that seems to fit its theme: Harm immunity, Drown immunity, cast spell Unique Power RestWear dispell immunity? Rez %? Mord or breach imm? Survival skills - even vacuum?

Maybe Daze immunity and +2 to all ability checks? Survival skills like waterbreathing sound good too.

Could give it Implosion and Disintegrate Immunity, kind of a Cruel Relief Upgrade... Or Dispel would rock since there's so little out there.

I have a vague preference for eXtraordinarily, but it could be either, really. I think it was originally eXtremely. Either is in the tradition of the NWNeXtender, the program that gave us the ability to run programs, and acaos' NWNeXalt, the group of plugins he pioneered that gave us a ton of new functionality.

Defend to Death: Small shield Would I use it? Have zero small shield users but if I had one I might use it for the huge listen/ca bonus. The abo small shield Spirit Ward may be hard to give up though - gives +20 parry/tumble, +5 regen, 5% physical imms, and epic fort + 10% ecto to boot. Is it power balanced? The skill set looks to be but bonus (ESF/LSF) only being for CW is a little underwhelming, CW is certainly a nice stat for tanks but LSF basically does nothing for the shield when it already gives +35 CW since LSF won't go past the +50 cap and easy to go to +50 cap from +35 with pre-LL sill bonus, prayer/bard song, prince win. Maybe extending skill bonus or skill feat more to disc/parry would help (I know it's supposed to be offensive shield, but offensive stats mainly being CW/Listen only makes shield focused on those not nearly as desirable as the cool imms on other #6 category items). As a player with a tank that uses a small shield I must say that I'm on the fence on this one. If I could cover my elemental immunities well elsewhere or get one of these with a goodly amount of elemental immunity added, then I might use a decently-randomized version of this (I currently use a very well-randomized rare small shield on the toon in question). Is it balanced the way it is? Hmm...I'm with laser on this one - It's probably a bit underpowered. ESF: CW is nice, but LSF, as laser mentions, is nearly useless. Perhaps ESF: Listen would be better, tho this kinda conflicts with the VoV (maybe that's a good thing...). Not sure on the other stuff yet. --Arek

I've finsihed all those items, and all the easy ones. I could really use some help with the remainder, however - the caster shields and the quasi/class-specific items. They're on lines 167-225. Most have specials, but some do not, and some of the existing specials are not super. The caster shields seem unduly focused on cloud spells, as well. I will be taking a break from these in order to implement all the XR subraces. In the meantime, I'm hoping I can get some quality suggestions here.
If you have a character of that class, try to think of what you'd like to see for it, and let me know if something seems over the top (I'm looking at the specials that give sorcs more effect slots, for example).

Those are only suggestions, of course. I didn't put "or" between the suggestions b/c of space, but it must be understood it was there. Also, some or several may be too powerful.
