Druids are easily one of the most powerful classes on the server at current, yet they're relatively unpopular. I think this is really unfortunate and other options as builds might be helpful. This is my current caster druid build. It's not as in vogue these days as some other versions, but I really enjoy it.
The benefits of the build are as follows:
1. Relatively high damage spells, lore and conjuration
2. Great saves
3. Max DC
4. Necro focus
5. Sleep immunity
Build shown double demi, with Wis artifact, Lvl 75, self buffed (minus necro paragon spell). (pictured version has four less dex and two more con and two more cha, I am recommending flipping those in the attached version)

How to Play
Playing a druid can be a bit tricky especially at low levels. You're probably better off using nature's balance and then trying for damage rather than DC spells at that stage if you are playing in hells. Once you are demi or 2x and/or with more paragon levels, drown and crumble become much more effective in hells/abyss.
One trick druids have that no other caster has is high AC. This means as long as you're not flatfooted, you're not likely to be hit too often. This means you need to buffer your spells in or click to melee if you want to stop casting. The only time you can stand around as a druid is if you cast the following spell:
Tortoise Shell
This is another spell that doesn't get used as often as it could be. This spell immobilizes you but eliminates the AC loss from flatfooting. Combined with extended foundation of stone and a druid can tank whole spawns. The bad news is this combo drops your dex to almost nothing so you'll want to stone or kill mobs like erinyes ASAP if you choose to use this combination. Make sure you create a macro to cancel both spells (/tp Playername !cancel ). Otherwise you'll be stuck in place for the duration and for Tortoise shell this is a LONG time.
ALWAYS cast Tortoise shell before foundation of stone which allows you to keep your AC flatfooted. Since foundation of stone flatfoots and immobilizes you, your ac goes to nothing and you'll rapidly be beaten to death without the AC of Tortoise shell. Foundation of stone is very valuable because it keeps you from being knocked down even by the worst of checks. This means druids can stand in front of Pit Fiends and goristros without fear, NB them and spam damage spells. It does make you a bit more vulnerable to Malebranche tosses though so be sure to wear something that gives levitation in such situations.
