(Similar to Crown of the Twilight War for Warhammer crits, alternative cloak to Prince Wrap, Erinyes Stole, Titans Wrap etc... Not as useful to all melees like the Wrap, and has a less concentrated res to eles, granted it has OC/DC and decent immunes. Idea behind this, Titans are a giant race that mostly wield warhammers, Lanaxis was the "origin of the titan race", they are known for living in a cold climate, being a very disciplined race. They also have the ability to cast chain lightning, so i thought elec res and chain light immune would be theme friendly. Revised and discussed idea - ----- You will recieve the Overwhelming, Devastating Critical Warhammer and Maul feats while wearing this item. ----- Wearing this cloak will grant +1 and penalty/bonus increase to Battletide. ----- You must have at 40 base strength to use this item??? (to focus it more on Battle Clerics) Special Properties: Armour Bonus: +18 (AC Deflection Modifier) Bonus Feat: % Anchoring II Enhancement Bonus: +14 Strength Damage Immunity: Bludgeoning 10% Damage Immunity: Piercing 10% Damage Immunity: Slashing 10% Damage Immunity: Cold 25% Damage Immunity: Electric 15% Damage Immunity: Sacred 10% Damage Resistance: Sacred 15 / - Regeneration +12 Epic Skill Focus: Discipline Skill Bonus: Discipline +15 Skill Bonus: Craft Weapon +15 +10 saves vs Cold +10 saves vs Electric Spell Immunity: Chain Lightning Spell Immunity: Meteor Swarm Immunity: Knockdown Spell Immunity: Call Lightning Spell Immunity: Chain Lightning Spell Immunity: Cone of Cold Spell Immunity: Freezing Sphere - Choices. Spell Immunity: Galvanic Cone Spell Immunity: Lightning Bolt Spell Immunity: Polar Ray

I would focus on a paragon version only since the existing item already fits well in the 55-60 power level range.

So having looked over some XR cloaks, i've revised the idea. This would be for paragon level, imo the Paragon loot, since it's set should be standardly better than XR's purely for the sake of randomization. Doesn't have to be greatly improved, just, that tiny bit better to begin with.
In this case, an XR cloak for example like Twlight Pall, would follow the 60/60/30/10 resists, ele/exo/special dmg types. However they would also grant % immunes to those types also, this trades that for Crit feats.
----- You will recieve the Overwhelming, Devastating, Power and Superior Critical Warhammer feats while wearing this item. ----- You will gain +4 to strength checks while wearing this item. ----- You must be level 70 to use this item.
Base Item: Cloak Weight: 5.0
Special Properties: Armour Bonus: +18 (AC Deflection Modifier) Bonus Feat: % Anchoring II Enhancement Bonus: +14 Strength Damage Immunity: Bludgeoning 20% Damage Resistance: Divine 35 / - Damage Resistance: Sacred 15 / - Damage Resistance: Cold 60 / - Damage Resistance: Electric 50 / - Regeneration +12 Epic Skill Focus: Discipline Skill Focus: Discipline Skill Bonus: Listen +15 Skill Bonus: Craft Weapon +25 Spell Immunity: Chain Lightning Spell Immunity: Meteor Swarm Immunity: Knockdown
Generally this would be intended for Battle Clerics, since the ESF/SF Discipline would allow them to get max disc without having to take bullheaded or going elf and CC taking it in LL. But also for any str tanks, that dont prioritize strength enough to get 120+ disc without taking Bullheaded.

Not sure i'd be able to stomach a cloak on BC with only bludgeoning immunity; leaves a gaping hole in defenses compared to even a BUR alternative, and resists being overall quite weak on BC (gate+eb+aegis yo) - and BC having to go STR based to begin with makes the Str checks... less than ideal I guess.. I like it thematically, but theres just no way i'd wear this on my BC. Going one handed (warhammer) and sacrificing defenses for it is counter-productive.
Not sure how i'd alter the idea personally though so my critique is questional. What i'd shoot for is less resistances and more emphasis on immunities, if it indeed is intended for BC.

Battleclerics, since they cant max great strength end up with low 60's maxed out str iirc. Sup/Elite Goristros can KD you, whats to say there aren't more creatures with 60+ stat checks inc. (Personally i'd like to see 70-80+ stat check creatures)
Looking at the XR cloaks a fair few of them didn't have phys imm, so it's a choice of XR gear setups at that point. 2handed may be less viable with the higher AB and dmg creatures in Limbo and above so going 1h probably isnt going to be a bad idea.
Hmm immunities instead of resists, could be a good idea.

How does this sound? -----
You will recieve the Overwhelming, Devastating Critical Warhammer and Maul feats while wearing this item.
----- Wearing this cloak will grant +1 penalty/bonus increase to Battletide.
----- You must have at 40 base strength to use this item??? (to focus it more on Battle Clerics)
Special Properties:
Armour Bonus: +18 (AC Deflection Modifier) Bonus Feat: % Anchoring II (I'd like to keep the huge race strong guy appeal, still doesn't seem a bad add imo anyway) Enhancement Bonus: +14 Strength Damage Immunity: Bludgeoning 10% Damage Immunity: Piercing 10% Damage Immunity: Slashing 10% - seems a more fair amount now Damage Immunity: Cold 25% Damage Immunity: Electric 15% Damage Immunity: Sacred 10% Damage Resistance: Sacred 15 / - Regeneration +12 Epic Skill Focus: Discipline (Or Listen - which would be preferred?) Skill Bonus: Listen +10 Skill Bonus: Craft Weapon +25 Spell Immunity: Chain Lightning Spell Immunity: Meteor Swarm Immunity: Knockdown

If that is the intention, then it's good. Otherwise the phys imms are a bit on the highside; consider, the comparative highest phys imm XR cloak is 15 15 15 physicals (which potentially randomizes well above 20%) - but has 0 immunities of any other type, "only" soak, spellimm5, misc imms and saves. The comparative immunity cloak is this - which has worse imms than the one you proposed, and 0% phys imms altogether. For Battlecleric, I would ignore -all- of the 0% phys XR cloaks entirely. The others are in general a various combination of 16 8 12 phys imms. I think the 0% ones are not good at all for most of the module, in particular on Battlecleric. Considering yours is a mix, it might use a bit of toning down - but again, it is not randomizable or augable so it should indeed be better. Question is how much. Perhaps 18 14 12 ? I am not sure how important the various different Saves are for Limbo (considering they seem to be in most XR items) but not knowing it is hard to give an educated opinion on the subject. Which makes making / suggesting / criticizing these XR set item drops very hard - we don't know how useful ./ irrelevant they will end up being because we do not know the content we are planning them for. Anyway, feel free to ignore me and go with what you feel is good - to be honest, the sets should be reviewed anyway after Limbo has been run a bit to see the actual benefit in the end. Might be this item as it is wouldn't be op at all.

But also for any str tanks, that dont prioritize strength enough to get 120+ disc without taking Bullheaded. No idea where this is coming from. BC can splash the last T1 AB class at 39 (fighter) or 40 (pally), pump Discipline, take ESF and be set for the life. Frankly, a tank who cannot cap Discipline by lvl 60 has little to no business in Hells and beyond, where this cloak would drop. EDIT: But other than that, I like this idea a lot I would even swap that for my favorite Rona cape and fill the helm slot with Earnest Reverend full time.

So you would indeed still need ESF....
Like i said, tanks that dont get LL disc, need ESF unless they have huge str, which quite a few tanks dont max, mainly clerics, rogues, stormlords etc..
edit - well not huge, around 70ish, but thats not always a reachable goal if you gotta splash Cha/Wis/Dex etc... edit 2 - you do have some point though, ESF listen could also be added imo.

Honestly, I don't know why you are keeping calling this a ''battlecleric cloak'', since it has no special btide SP nor clerical slots like the comparative helmet. Battleclerics can wield any martial weapon, the fact the Uro item was made (beside flavour, I suppose) was because for a long time there was a hype about hammer clerics due to many players selecting that as their weapon of choice, but it was a great weapon for everybody. That being said, hammer is fine; 2handed gnome battlecleric for cool points! The last item edit seems fine (just to be clear, is it keeping hammer focii?), I'd just remove one of the two ESF and add some (moderately useful) special, up to you if you want to make this item more cleric focused or a universal cloak for any hammer user. Edit: Similar to the Plate of the Legendary Master you could even grant double weapon feats, imo OC/DC in Warhammer and Maul would be fitting and open for more build choices (also, poor maul is so underused)

Think OC/DC/IC/SC is too much? Although you can at least get PC from an aug, so i dont think it's too bad. I like the maul idea too Repost for people scrolling straight to the bottom... I don't rate IC/SC too much, and you can always use the augment/loca fish option if you are a low ab toon using a high threat range weapon (when those feats help the most); hammer/maul are low threat range, big crit multiplier weapons so not even that crucial. Probably Discipline best, it fits the ''STRONK!'' concept (giants, heavy weapons, str checks...) and there're enough ESF:Listen options already. But then, drop the listen skill bonus and add a discipline one too Stats wise seems fine for a paragon item, make it even more cosmetic/pl-suited with something like +10 saves vs electric/sonic too? I like the different but useful battletide boost .

Did you consider the following spell immunity list, to fit better with the cold/electric theme?
Spell Immunity: Call Lightning Spell Immunity: Chain Lightning Spell Immunity: Cone of Cold Spell Immunity: Freezing Sphere Spell Immunity: Galvanic Cone Spell Immunity: Lightning Bolt Spell Immunity: Polar Ray

I didnt consider them yet , was generally going with the Lore in forgotten realms that titans could cast chain/ms even the warriors. For added usefulness immunity Polar Ray would be a good add. I mean, im down for adding any/all of those dependant on opinions. If you're suggesting swap the current spell imms for the list you provided i would be totally down for that too.

I'm approving this, with cone of cold instead of meteor swarm immunity. Nice work!
