The XR belt has some interesting effects - but it is hard to pinpoint who exactly would wear it.
It does have a cool unique with random chance to resurrect you on death - which is arguably a bit meh, but definitely unique. It has skills (Persuade, Bluff) , saves (potentially very valuable - but in general, immunities > saves due to nature of failing 1s), bigby imms, and some useful misc imms in Fear, Level Drain and Sleep. It provides temporary critical immunity - though worse than the Bur Belt Belt of Eternal Preservation and is misc imm / bigbyimm wise behind Ainafeas, and the no-collision ability during GS is niche at best: useful for pulling maze in nessus, and ressing people if things go awry and they end up in middle of an in accessible pack of mobs, or speedrunning to various lowbie locations in GS. However, the issue is these are all in the category of things that are "neat to have", not mandatory. Not many classes can afford to give up an entire item slot in Belt for a colourful mix of various very niche things.
Overall, the belt seems to be mimicking abilities that are generally attributed to Bards skills: (persuade, bluff), Bard epics (crit immunity, personal random possum), and provide a little bit of "fluff" in the form of misc immunities, saves, bigby immunities. But the belt does not currently serve a purpose for any toon in the game as far as I can think of. Rogue needs to get more tankiness from belt slot (the crit immunity is waaaaaaay too short and situational), Bard gets everything this belt provides from class abilities and needs either slots or defenses from some other belt. Same applies to all other casters - they need slots, and tanks need tanky properties.
So, question is - can someone point out a toon that would wear this over some other alternative? If not, where should the belt be nudged towards - should it be tailored for bards? Or tanks lacking crit immunity? Shadowdancers? (ugh, please avoid custom tailored XRs for prestige classes - would hurt most people rolling the item from the XR lottery) - As it is currently, this belt looks more like an odd niche set piece that you use for weird endeavours rather than a XR item.
My gut tells me to either go with the powerful unique properties and very little else, and buff them up big time! Or simply remove some of them and make the belt more powerful as standalone piece, adding better base properties.
Quick suggestions:
For bard: add spell slots for bards.
For Rogue and alike types: improve the duration and usability of the Critical Immunity.
To fit the "evade death" theme of Death saves and % of resurrection: add in some (one or two max) valuable niche immunities: weird, pwk, implosion, disintegrate - but I personally think these shouldn't be on too many randomizable items as base properties.
To be an upgrade to "Ainafeas" - spell immunity to 6 and below.
To fit the "Laxity" theme: add Evasion on the belt (would be direct nudge towards Bard as the other wearers of this belt would somewhat likely have evasion from class based properties)
Something else entirely?
