===========
- A new character updater has been added, to make all changes from here on out 100% retroactive. It will inform you when retroactive edits are made to your character, listing the edits, on login.
- Total spellslots allowed on equipped items are now limited to 255 total, to prevent crashes, checked on equip instead of on login. Almost all our crashes have been caused by this, despite the current fix.
- Treants can now switch at will between small and large appearances.
- Added another appearance to the Maelephant subrace.
- Non-monk shifters no longer get shield bonus while shifted, since they get most of their wisdom bonus instead.
- Arcane archers can now toggle between single and multitarget Death Arrows using !opt deatharrow. DC on the single arrow is still capped at 49.
- The duration of Weapon Master Ki Reflection was increased to 15 seconds per Ki Damage use.
- Champions of Torm now get +1 bonus Str every five legendary levels.
- Characters with 5 levels of Harper Scout can now take UMD as a cross-class skill in legendary levels.
- Light armor has been changed to a dexterity bonus to ac cap of 24 minus base armor instead of 22 minus base. Leather armor is base 2, for example, so now allows 22 dex bonus to ac.
- Instead of getting both Str and Dex bonuses for every 5 legendary levels, Barbarians now only get strenth bonuses, unless they have the weapon finesse feat, in which case they get dexterity instead of strength.
- There are 6 new Legendary Skill Affinity feats available which allow your character access to the skill as a class skill. Details in the Tome of Legends in the Item Shop.
- Improved Stunning Fist now has no Dexterity requirement in legendary levels, requiring only 19 Wisdom.
- Other Legendary feats have been added, including Battle Awareness, Battle Hardened I - IV, Legendary Skill Focus, and Hardened Soul. Details in the Tome of Legends in the Item Shop.

- Tumble AC bonus is now capped at 12 - (PM + RDD ac bonuses).

- Listen skill now increases your chances of hitting concealed enemies. A listen score of 60 is equivalent to blindfight, and higher scores get better still. Details on the Class and Equipment board in the Docks.
- Bluff skill can now reduce enemy ab, just as Taunt recudes enemy ac. Both are used via the taunt skill, and the !opt tauntbluff command toggles between them. The effects of bluff do not stack with Taunt. Both Bluff and Taunt are now free actions, once per round max.
-Blinding Speed now adds 1 speed class permanently. It will only have this effect once you take your first legendary level, though you may take it earlier.
-Strongheart amulet is now restricted to characters with 20 levels or less of RDD.

-Skill points saved in regular leveling now can carry over into legendary levels.
-The Artist feat grants an effective +2 levels to bard and curse song, allowing up to level 62 song effects. See the book in the Item Shop for details on the specific effects.

-Shifters with 21 shifter levels now benefit from monk ac WITHOUT needing a monk level, but only while shifted, and at a -3 penalty. Shifters with a monk level do not suffer the -3 ac penalty.
-Goad and nunchaku are now monk weapons. Quarterstaff and shuriken are also monk weapons for characters with 21 levels of monk or more. All of these weapons benefit from the -3 attack progression. They cannot be used for flurry of blows yet, but will be able to soon.

-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 7-13
===========
-Many messages from the Scry and SIMtools commands are now sent over the Server channel so they can be read with the combat log off.

UPDATE 6-28 (take two)
===========
-Monster critical ranges and multipliers have received the first stage of major mod-wide adjustments. Monitoring will continue; please continue to post your impressions and information on the fora.
-Playername port binding (from the 6-27 update) has been changed to use CD key. If you crash out or log out improperly and wish to log in from a different CD key on the same computer, you will need to log back in and out before you can do so.
-Weapon buffs will now automatically recharge from a memorized copy possessed by the caster if possible after the caster rests or relogs, preventing their degradation. Use the '!opt autorebuff' SIMtools command to toggle this behavior.

-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 6-28
===========
-The weapon buff change has been altered. Instead of progressively degrading after a rest or relog, each rest or relog by the caster will halve remaining duration on weapon buffs cast by that caster. Being far away from the weapon will still result in it degrading rapidly. Buff power will no longer degrade, only remaining duration.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 6-27
===========
-Double LAN logins from the same port are now blocked, to prevent server crashes and bugginess. If you crash out of the game or otherwise do not log out properly, you must log back in with the same playername and log out before you can change playernames. If you do not use multiple playernames or multiple computers on your home network, this change should have no effect on you.
-Game difficulty has been increased to Hardcore. Players will not harm themselves with their own abilities (as on normal Hardcore), but monsters can now make real critical hits, and players (and monsters) will now incur attacks of opportunity for using potions in combat or using ranged weapons inside melee range. Scripted criticals from monsters have been removed. We expect that this will make the mod considerably more difficult, and that is part of the idea - difficulty has been steadily decreasing ever since the introduction of custom class edits, to the point where characters are now able to level in much higher level areas. It will probably require some further tweaks to the Hells, but that remains to be seen. As always your input is welcome!
-The on-hit effect system has been completely reworked. Where you saw Flame Weapon effects before, you will now see Intelligent Weapon effects. Weapon enchantments will no longer go away when the caster rests, but will instead start degrading if the caster rests or is away from the weapon for a significant amount of time. Temporary enhancement bonuses will now co-exist peacefully, allowing your weapon to have (for example) both Instruments of Faith and Greater Magic Weapon cast on it. The highest enhancement bonus will apply.
-Bard Song now adds bonus sonic damage, so it will stack with all other bonus damages. This damage is special and generally ignores damage resistance and immunity.
-Barbarian Mighty Rage now adds bonus cold damage, so it will stack with all other bonus damages. This damage is special and generally ignores damage resistance and immunity.
-Assassins with at least 10 Monk levels may now hone gloves. For purposes of assassin criticals only, they will have a +2 critical range (as if they were a Weapon Master with Ki Critical).
-Rangers now receive Shield AC on weapons wielded in their offhand, based on their wisdom modifier.
-All epic spells have been cleaned up. Annihilation, Primal Cataclysm, and Starfire now always do at least some damage to their targets. Aegis now has a duration of 1 round per caster level. Hear Me Roar now has a duration of 1 turn per point of the bard's charisma modifier. Miracle now stuns enemies again. Primal Cataclysm should properly slow enemies now.
-Divine Power and Tenser's Transformation can now increase their caster's Legendary BAB. See the books in the Item Shop for details.
-Anti-breach boots have been added to the game as random loot.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 6-17
===========
-Legendary BAB increases have been added. See the Tome of Legends in the item shop for details. Monster ACs in LLs have been rescaled to take legendary BAB into account.

-The PC Scry, Combat Autocaster, and Command Targeter no longer delay a full round before they are used.
-The !setname SIMTools command has been enabled for players! You can now rename your own items. ANY ITEM RENAMED BY A PLAYER WILL HAVE A LEADING * AND ITS NAME IN <cþ–2>ORANGE TEXT</c>.
-Freedom of Movement and Expeditious Retreat now properly increase everyone's speed rather than just that of characters with at least 3 levels of Monk.
-Invisibility Purge now reduces enemy concealment within its aura when cast by a ranger, at casterlevel 46 and higher. This is only available to rangers who do not belong to a quasiclass.
-Divine Slingers no longer receive enhancement bonus on their bullets. Their GMW has been improved to add enhancement bonus to their sling instead, which works properly.
-Monks no longer receive a damage bonus effect while unarmed; instead, their gloves now automatically receive an enhancement bonus. Additionally, characters with 40 class levels of monk will receive Keen automatically on their gloves.
-Level/Ability Drain immunity were not removed from the Hand of Vecna when Stun immunity was added. They now have been. The Hand still grants immunity to Death Magic and Stun.
-Bountiful Beakers of Healing have been reworked to provide a single unlimited heal pack, to reduce inventory clutter and lag.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 6-12
===========
-Due to problems with spontaneous casting and domain spells, clerics will be unable to cast spells of level 4 and below until they rest. Level 5 and higher spells should be properly restored on relogin.
-Erinyes, transformed RDDs, and Accursed Pariahs now have multiple appearances on the PC Scry.
-Changed the three new artifacts to be bankable rather than stackable gems.
-Fixed AA bows and DS bullets still causing double kickback sometimes.
-Lifethreaders tuned down slightly at high levels. Check the book for details.
-SIMtools updated to 3.1.
-Many bug and exploit fixes.
-New fresh scent!
UPDATE 6-7
===========

-Fashion accessories should now be craftable.
-Most spells and some feats should be restored to their previous usage level on login. More feats will be added in the future.
-Flame Weapon and similar spells should no longer cause extra kickback in combat.

-Dwarven Warchanters now require 16 base Charisma for their epic spells.
-Invisible helm activation can now be toggled with the '!invishelm' SIMtools command.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
===========

-Blackguards now get a spell list! See the book in the Item Shop for details.
-Death Ward now grants round/2 casterlevels critical immunity at character level 41 and up, when cast by character with control class Paladin or Blackguard on him or herself. The caster must have at least 40 base Strength. If the caster does not have Death Magic immunity, he receives that effect instead.
-Greater Rage now grants critical immunity at character level 41 and up, when used by a character with control class Barbarian who has at least 40 base Strength. When used in this manner, it does not overwrite any other existing rage effects.
-Wholeness of Body now takes legendary levels into account, and can be used multiple times per day until its total allotment of healing is used up. When used by a character with control class Monk who has at least 40 base Strength, it grants temporary critical immunity. See the book in the Item Shop for details.

UPDATE 6-28 (take two)
===========
-The '!invishelm' SIMtools command has been changed to '!opt invishelm'. Two other commands have been added, '!opt autorebuff' and '!opt shifterfix'. See the Class and Ability board in the Docks for details.
-Spellcasters can now list and cancel spells they have cast with the '!effects' and '!cancel' SIMtools commands. See the Class and Ability board in the Docks for details.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
UPDATE 6-28
===========
UPDATE 6-27
===========
UPDATE 6-17
===========
-Legendary BAB increases have been added. See the Tome of Legends in the item shop for details. Monster ACs in LLs have been rescaled to take legendary BAB into account.
-AB penalties have been reduced somewhat in the Hells to reflect the fact that they cannot be overcome by buffs. DC penalties have been added.
UPDATE 6-12
===========
UPDATE 6-7
===========
-Crafting is no longer free. However, armor and weapon crafting should now copy over when items are updated.

-Flame Weapon and similar spells should no longer cause extra kickback in combat.
-Many buff spells have been updated to affect lower-level characters at a lower caster level rather than being completely useless on them. They will still have full duration determined by caster level.
-Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken and Dirge of the Deathless now have a duration equal to the bard's Charisma modifier in rounds.
-Dwarven Warchanters now require 16 base Charisma for their epic spells.
-Invisible helm activation can now be toggled with the '!invishelm' SIMtools command.
-Bug and exploit fixes.
