It's not a big deal to me, but I have cast PFE several times on my auto caster and not once has it recast the spell. I have max AC without it I just wanted you to know.

Autocaster does not automatcially cast spells, out of combat you ether type !autocast or right click on the auotcaster and click on the use function/talk to function.

There are a fair few buffs that the autocaster won't cast. Cleric domain spells are one example, as are buffs like gate which need a ground target. There are probably other examples. It's not really a major problem, since it's just a few extra clicks every rest, but it is annoying.
