Hi guys, looking my poor race i found this: Prismatic S_D str +2 dex -2 int -1 char 2 25% Immunity (Fire/Cold/Acid/Elec), 25% Vulnerability (Sonic) Looking Storm Mage Quasiclass page, I read this spell: Elemental Shield (duration multiplied by 10; provides elec/sonic immunity and elec kickback) So vulnerability to sonic is eleminated? For new player it's possible to build a "secret race tank" 45 DDR 12 SORC 3 PALADIN and this initial stat are good? STR 15 (17) DEX 15 (13) CON 12 INT 15 (14) WIS 8 CHA 12 (14) Char 12(14) is needed for Tenser Elec can be good in advanced istance?

On BFM/DSM tank builds, I would start with a 14 charisma before racial modifiers. Reason for more charisma is Divine Might, lasts longer, has more uses and does more damage.
For levels 1-59, damage shields can be beneficial for both defense and offense. For endgame play, damage shields tend to cause more harm than they help. If a party kickback creature takes damage from your damage shield, it will hurt you and your entire party.

Shield is to take less Sonic damage, in the last hell run i don't meet KB eletric.

You shouldn't need to worry about damage shields to get elemental damage immunity/resistance to levels where the effects are merely an irritation, decent gear and the use of a few 20% immunity augmenters (easy to pick up from various legendary level runs) and you should easily be able to cover this, plus if you are going to an area that has an overflow of a specific damage type you can usually change one (or both) of the rings you are wearing to cover this. For exotic damage types you'll be wanting to well randomised UR or BUR rings as you can potentially get up to 70% immunity by wearing two of these plus whatever else you might get from other equipment.

Is there an up to date DSM tank build? Prepare for a sack of answers about XDD builds not being end game capable, build would pretty much be the same as a BFM with Pally or BG to boost saves and give you armor/weapon profs, also it depends what races you have access to but Half-Guardinal is by far the best from its stats combined with free Evasion.

there's notable difference between XDD and BFM/DSM, the former indeed gets bad review, just bit weak/unimpressive tho, nothing inherently so bad that it's not "capable" of running hell+. "end game viable" meh, yeah wasted slot vs other 1hers, just poor choice vs bfm. the latter is a solid "endgame runner".
dsm, not many around vs bfm lately. afaik it's usually more a choice of style/elec on certain run/mob at cost of mod-wide flexibility, so dsm always been noticeably lower popularity: overall, even aside from underwater elec handicap, fire is just more op on more runs. bfm stronk; fire is really king on server in many ways. elec from dsm is/can be very op as well, comparably extremely strong in some application (on some of same runs), but ultimately more niche both 1-80 as well as endgame, so i think despite elec dmg comparable opness sometimes, no one really runs dsm instead of bfm in recent years; and unless you're reincing a toon that already abo tagged and doesn't need to run any more abyss, it's the less flexible option to pick.
tldr it's true xdd doesn't get 5-star reviews, but there's no hate for bfm. certainly end game capable, and "end game viable", bfm no question there: yes. dsm, meh; prolly inadvisable to pick dsm over bfm for "starter" toon.

Sonic is pretty good as well - I would rather play a caster dsm with the transformation than a tank.
As far as a tank goes - either is very helpful for any dc based class - so your party will love you.
