Depends on the party. Uroboros is pretty quick with high level help - well most runs are quick with high level help. You can always mess around in the feywild or elemental planes for any period of time (runs have no set length or end). Those two are easy to solo. -S

Thanks Sabregirl, what about the toy shop? Is that a thing I remember and what kind of loot drops in these - any race book drops. I would be helping my son get ready for higher level content as he has way more time and skill.

Dustbone can definitely take less than an hour, and the Black Pyramid is 45mins - 1 hour with a small party.

Depending on your party composition and toon power it changes a lot, but Toyshop is probably the favourite for a quick and decently paying run. Fairly easy, simple, drops decent sets, lvl 35 weapons (ease future tank leveling - perhaps your son?), secrets without searching, portable hole (which to use as a trading chip) if lvl isnt above 54 1/4 of the time and a way to deal with the mini. Myconids isn't very rewarding gear-wise, but has some decent things there and it's a decent source of experience and URs early-40s and is one of the easier runs out of the bunch.
If you have an access to a Sorcerer, Wizard, Druid or Cleric then most runs at 40-60 can be soloed in decent time with a little practice - in small groups anything is quick enough, but the shorter/easier ones are Uroboros, Desert/Dustbone, Toyshop, Dulvuroth (assuming you have the knowhow to deal with last boss - going in blind for first time can take a bit), Rona up to key but should take some caution before entering unless demigod druid. Thids is pretty fast too if you can get a few people together for it, extra + if either arcane or instakilling + savedropping potential. Locathath is pretty fast with savedrop and death/mind instakills.
For future reference, a well-rounded group (has spell damage, tank damage, frontline to HOLD THE LINE, instakilling and save/sr dropping) that isn't dragging around an army of afk accounts with slow hands will smash through any 40-55 run in less than an hour. With more advanced group not-hindered by cumbersome bots the 45-60min timer can apply to every other run in the game as well except Limbo pt2, but getting those groups together can be a trickier task unless very well organized.

I particularly dislike the 40-60 level range, that being said, most runs at appropriate levels take more than that - specially if you lack good equipment (UR quality) and immunity rings (to cover the common damage types for that particular run) and a well rounded party (with druid to drop SR, bard and cleric to drop saves and arcane caster to finish mobs in area).
That being said - Feywild and Elemental Planes aren't actually "runs" but rather grinding areas - so you can do that even solo.
What classes are you playing?
