I have done like two of these in my entire HG career. What are the most effective strategies you have for successfully completing the run?
Class combinations, spell book choices, etc. All advice and feedback welcome.

Lots of options here. There are mostly undead, elementals and a few constructs. Everything can be kept in place with web. Undead things take the usual counters: utd, turning and positive damage and to some extent sunburst. Some of them have divine immunity, so it might take couple utd casts to beat them down. Elementals take lvl drain, stat drain and can be poisoned. If you plan on killing them with damage, get ready for kb, it is different for every type - although if you equip something like asmo cape + half kb item, you are pretty much set.
Sorcs work just as anywhere else. PMs do good there: strong utd, web, 2 doms to stop negative burst healing in boss fight and shenanigans like control undead on the Chosens. Shifters with construct and/or undead: iron golem for poisonables, baelnorn for sunburst, crystal golem for boss. Druids let you slack with kb immunities, have sunburst and murderous mist and EQ for boss. Turners destroy that place. Rangers with FE undead and positive on xr weapon will kill the boss or any leftovers super fast. One time Matt and I used to run that place with 2 threaders: you mass the entire place, start physical threading, go afk, come back, switch to positive and go afk again - you keep healing and restoring each other and aoe everything down, eventually, not the fastest approach, but very hands free.

the few times i did it i saw delayed fireblast combined with some nice everards being used at the boss and it died instantly
do note, be carefull not to blow up the arti!
edit: this apperently was done with a BFM, a normal sorc has a little more trouble with this

sorc solos it easily. dbf evard everything. even L60 rak should easily cod the bugs after save debuffs. for boss i like karsus sunburst. doesnt break loot and with proper epic wall placement and positioning (aka get as far away from him as possible) you can minimize or eliminate the risk of rolling a 1 on the dom by keeping out of aoe. rg used to rek the entire run and boss, i tried after the nerf and not breaking loot doesn't make up for the dmg loss vs spamming dbf instead or sunburst on boss. pre-karsus toon i'd prolly still just try epic wall too and sf, spam sunburst and rg till you have to rest and repeat. that's definitely longer than dbf but i mean if you have bots to anchor why not, running around with uncontrolled spawn and dbf/evards is kinda wack. his aura is annoying af. that said, ofc if you're careful you can still evard and dbf from epic wall too, just often will require some extra time spent re-pulling him if he drifts into a bad spot. like any other boss/spawn that has casters, aoe mording first is recommended, and as always when dealing w/ mord casters, make sure you pull the mords with a summon first not a bbod to prevent accidental aoe mording.
as far as class combos goes, it really doesn't matter imo, cleric bot, bard, druid is a given with boxing. 2her can save some time for beating down doors and boss/minions, but again possible risk of wasting time by rolling a 1 and dying/etc.
turner is classic but much like any other run it's just "fun" not really optimal. which is naturally wear sorc fits in.

Thanks for all the feedback. I have the run down to 30-35 minutes. I'm 3/14 on artifacts and have all I need. Much appreciated.
