So - I'm exposing my stoopidity once again. I fried Bardessh of the Moe (my pure bard) (at the reinc light) and created a new Shard replacement. I am having quite the failure to understand.
The build requires me to take "Extra spell Known (lvl 6)" but I can't get it to show up on my feats list. I've tried the Test Chamber Twice - can't make it appear. Even had my replacement claim the xp and level normally. Made sure I had !enhmode on (as well as in the Test Chamber).
I did the HGE load and am using the modified executable. What am I missing?
I've burned a toon and 2 Shard books - so I only have a week to figure this out.
Grateful in advance for your patience and apologies for forcing you to smack your own head in disbelief.
The build Starts with a base CHA of 20 at lvl 1. And it did have Lvl 6 spells. I started looking for "Extra known Spells" every time a feat was offered since lvl 21. Ran out of other things to take by lvl 31. Nothing left but Epic Skill Focus/Extra Known Spell to take (multiple times)
Seems to me it should be a problem with the HG Extensions. It should be there, but it's not. !enhmode turned on and off without errors. I use Arf2 to load the game. Is there someway to Verify that the extensions are loaded properly? Lord knows, if three is a way to mess something up, I'll find it. Couldn't get it to work in or out of the Test Chamber. Used a different name for the new toon. Even relogged to see if that would affect it. I'm pretty sure it's something I am doing/did wrong.

Do you mean that Extra Spell Known was actually offered to you? Make sure that: 1. you have Greater Spell Focus in school you want to take Epic Spell Focus with the swap. Without GSF you won't be allowed to do that. 2. you do the !charedit swap as soon as you take Extra Spell Known. You cannot stockpile Extra Spell Known feats for later switching, you can have only one of those for level 6 at a time. After you change it into Epic Spell Focus, you will be free to take another one.
This may already have been answered but for every new character you create (including reincarnations) you will need to use the !enhmode command, you only need to do it once but it is not switched on by default.
Simpetar: NO - the "Extra Spell Known" was NEVER displayed at any point after lvl 20. I took the other feats waiting/looking for the "Extra Spells Known". BY lvl 31 all I had left on the build sheet was Epic spell Focus feats - which I can't take because they don't appear.
and, I'm sorry, but the Build takes 4 Spell Focuse Feats, 5 Greater Spell Focus Feats - and wants to take 5 Epic Spell Focus Feats. It's apparently all about Spell Focus on this build. (No Idea why Spell Focus Illusion wasn't taken)
Cahinlink: As I said a few times. The !enhmode turned on and off with no errors. "Enhanced Mode Enabled"?"Enhanced Mode Disabled" (turned it back on) Made ZERO difference in the outcome - neither in the Test Chamber - nor in Ascension Docks.
Okay, I figured it out. And as expected, it was due to operator error / improper installation of the HG Extensions.
I feel like an ASS - umption was the cause. I ran the HGE Updater, assuming that it updated NwN with HGE. It doesn't. I went back and READ the HG Extended Wiki page again - very thoroughly this time. I had NOT manually moved the files to the NwN folders (as the instructions clearly state) I "skimmed" and thought the Updater would take care of the installation.
AFTER I manually installed the files in the proper folders, ARG2 promptly informed me my HGE was out of date and offerred to fix it (ARG2 removed one file from a "previous installation") Upon entering the Test Chamber I began to see those Spells that were recommended (but never appeared on the list either - like "Sticky Fingers") So I am assuming (once again) that the problem was fixed. I shall proceed on that assumption until I discover otherwise.
See? I told you I was fairly sure it was MY fault - and it was.
