I assume journals and such are there for RP and Ambiance and are not considered useless is that correct? Correct. Funky

Water Beetle blellies dice bags potion bottle (the purple ones) magic wands (the ones you cant craft) tattered pieces of paper (have some kind of code) any gem not worth more than 50gp :/ redundant flasks at the item shop. There are several varieties that do the same thing but at different price ranges. (Also see Item request forum..had some new ideas) Reduntant cloths at the clothing shop. It's pretty and all but doesn't get bought. If one is truely desperate you can pick them off you know who. The big grey skulls dropped at the sunken temple...cant remember what spawn drops them but they seem to have no purpose. (sorry if any onf these have already been mentioned.)

Guys, the point here is to help me track down plot-related items out in the world that are unused, and give me the area that they are in. Also, please try to avoid repeating an item someone else has posted - I know that'll get a bit trickier as the post grows, but it makes my job a bit easier. Rewards coming soon! Thanks again, Funky

(1) Goblin Commander's key, drop from Goblin commander inside hut in the Goblin area.
On AW PoA this opened the gate to the swamp but not needed here.
(2) Equivalently the empty bottle in Anduin's which in PoA was used to get the oil, to grease the gear, to open the door to the Catacombs. Can't pinpoint this exact drop though sorry.
(3) Hourglass in the Gnoll Fort, inside tent on the hill, left hand side pair, right hand tent last run I did. This may have a use but I don't know.
(4) Trap drops (everywhere) - quartz as mentioned and also skellie knuckles. These are useful, in theory, but not ever used. These are a special type of ...
(5) ... Craft drops (everywhere) - iron bar and so forth from when you break a door. For example, in Tower Dungeons.

Greetings,
The monk ammie in Loki is a plot item in addition to having (weak) bonuses on it. At least it was the last time I was there...its been a while. Sry in advance if this is a repeat.
Cheers,
The Dancer

One that has been annoying me for quite a while... The curiosity steak in me keeps heading me back to it with different characters of various levels and classes... but to no end. So I list it here as useless... Loot Bag. Spider cave. As you enter the cave there is a bolder on left side of enterance. Behind is a Loot bag which is unreachable, since the bolder is in the way and it is untargetable by anything to bash it.

Not an item, and not unreachable. Funky

Oh yeah... and Shrike scales dropped where ever you kill a Shrike. Unless I have not been able to guess their use yet...

It does have a use, but not a very interesting one, especially by the level you usually start killing them.
