Not to bitch and moan to much cuz i really like whats going on on the server, but there have been a lot of crashes latley. i for one have lost a bunch of XP and gold due to it. Yes i realize we have the pen, and sure we get the save when we level, but often in the middle of an run noone remembers to save to the vault. With that said is there any chance you can make an autosave script that will run every X min and save stuff to the vault,or perhaps attach it to the rest function so that resting is also saving?

auto save isnt a script, you can set it everytime you host I wont mind autosaves, but plz dont set them less than 30 minutes apart also, placing them during rests will cause alot of server stress during the high points(specially with mages)

yeah I forgot to save after I traded some equipment and gp from two of my other alts to my current one. Server crashed and I ended up losing 6 bags of items and 25,000. gp. Not a happy day

Thats what I thought also but when he logged back in, he said he didnt have the items and lost a bunch of the spells and wands he was makeing. It sucks but I pretty much chalked it up as a learning experience lol. Always save after trades.

Sorry about all the server issues while I was gone fellas (Dragon should have simply restarted the computer, instead of continuously restarting the server instead). The computer was having some sort of memory issue, and that was what was causing the lag.
It is all fixed, now, nonetheless. Heh, I guess I will have to teach Dragon a lil' more about my computer so he can restart it remotely while I am away...

ALSO: any items/gold that you may have lost can and will be reimbursed.

I can use one just fine, but there is a reason that they arn't normally considered PC's
BTW, can you make it so that it is possible to find scrolls that can't be scribed around the server. I was going to make a Shade scroll to give to Saller, but it is impossible to scribe one

Which scrolls are unscribable?

well "Shade" for one becuase you can't cast it, insted you can only cast one of it's options, and other spells like it.
Timestop, Meteor swarm, and other spells which do not allow youto select a target also cannot be casted on a scroll.
and Epic spells, but thats understandable

I'm gonna stick my foot in my mouth [well both, actually], quite firmly and just note that I've only ever seen two PW's that require players save their chars - out of about 20 or so, including several which are in early beta. The point I'm making is, surely this is possible to make the char save on logout without taxing the server too much?
